this is a very easy song which anyone can sing.

i would have given amanat 5/10 for an average rendition, but on second thought deduct one for not having the courage to choose a more difficult composition and for trying to evoke emotion by saying how he misses his family and all.

so, on final analysis - 4/10

This song is from the movie Masoom, which was directed by one of the best directors Shekhar kapur. This song was very apt for the situation in the movie. The hero Nassiruddin Shah(who is married in the story) gets too close to someone he meets in his class reunion party, that she concieves and gives birth to a Boy.. when that boy turns 5-6 yrs his Mom dies and the his dad comes to know about him and his responsibility.. he is not able to explain to him his relationship with him and that innocent boy keeps asking him questions which he is not able to answer..like where is my Mom? Do u know my dad? etc etc..so this song plays in the background when he prepares to take him to his family with wife and 2 daughters.

This song is basically dad asking his self..'It goes ""Tujhse Naaraaz nahin zindagi hairaan hoon main" ---I'm amazed that life is not rude to u (considering what we have done), " Tere Masoom sawaalon se pareshaan hoon main---I'm tense to hear your innocent queries.

Jeene ke liye socha hi nahin dard sambhalne honge ( To live i never expected to hold sadness within) Muskurayen to muskuraane ke karz utaarne honge (while u were ever happy u never expect to be under debt of happiness and will have to be paid by equal sadness). Mukuraaoon kabhie to lagta hai jaisa hothon pe karz rakha hai.. Now when I smile i feel the debt of hapiness(one time) on my lips..and I want to cry but even the tears don't roll down

Movie is a classic..Urmila Matondkar and Jugal hansraj were child artists.. is a must watch..if u can get it from somewhere WATCH IT

I hope i'm able to explain to u at least the underline meaning

Excellent Effort.........👏 👏 👏 👏 ...In HR style I would say superb, mindblowing extraordinary.........fantastic.

Thanks for the detailed explanation.

I used to like the song before. But after the magic which Amanat created, I just adore the song.

Amanat brought out the true meaning of the song in such a soulful manner. He sang each and every word with so much feeling .

Even Himesh was left speechless. 😆 😆

Hats off to Amanat . IT was undoubtedly the best song of the whole season. 👏

Do u really know anythg abt music, I highly doubt. Even if the song was simple(as per you) did you not notice Amanat's harquaten(which he added on his own) which were beautiful??????
I know u r a Aneek fan, that doesn't mean u just sling mud on other contestants without any reason. U think Aneek's 'Hare Ram, hare Ram' was more difficult than 'Tujhse naraj'???😡

I guess the thread was to discuss what the song meant and context...Amanat reminded of a beautiful song..there are other threads to discuss the performance'

Hey,

Awesome work. Still I have a question. Are you sure the translation is correct. I thought Gulzaar Jee means with ''Tujhse Naraaz Nahin Zindai, Hairaan Hoon Main''. =>

Life is not rude to you BUT I am amazed (Hairaan).

I mean you can look at both ways...you have written he is amazed that life is not rude to him but I have written that life isnt rude to him but he is hairaan.

Dunno how to explain...lol u no what I mean ?

Because why shud he be amazed that the life ist't rude to the little boy...he hasn't done anything.

Check out this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_WV6HRq3SM

I hope this will help you understand the setting and plot of this great song. And ya you will notice one more thing, and that is that Amanat sang this song 100 times better then the original (with all due respect to original)

PS: this is from layman's prospective i don't know about technical perfection but i can see dil ke performance as Vishal would have said 👏
