May be the overall impact was still there, that credit shd definitely go to Raja. I never felt HR said anythg wrong earlier in the show but the way he said was wrong..he pulled him down too much which was not reasonable.

if u say Amanat's Sawariya was not good, I can say Raja's Maine poocha was bad..Didn't get the feel at all and he overdid the voice modulation. Its better if u post appreciating someone rather than pulling someone down..One way u r saying HR did this that, the other side u r doing the same thg for Amanat..😉

Raja's last 5-6 performances have been so "surele" that a top notch singer went gaga over him and gave him standing ovation and music director offered him a song ;)

yes, he did not sing this song well and I'm glad that ID corrected him. But as far as I remember, this is the only song that he has not sung well throughout the competition.

One thing I've always liked about ID - be in challenge 05 or 07. He is always more harsh on his own gharana members when they make mistake, and he does not praise them skyhigh for very good performances also, unlike other mentors. I think this really helps them improve and keps them down to earth.

In fact he praises other contestants more when they sing well, and does not criticise them as much for bad performances. It was someone other than Amanat who had sung this way, he would not have scolded them that much.

Yes.. Amanat's performance was not up to the mark with his other performances. But it wsa in comparison with his own previous songs he has sung on this stage. Of 30 some performances one "not up to the mark" is what was essential to point out. What about those countless flawless performances he has given.

Also, time and again producers, music directors, choreographers, singers, classical maestros, celebrities have all said that he is beyond this competition. Were they all deaf to say so?

Whoever pointed out the part about him and his breathing.. just want to say when Guys are in their teenage years, their voice is still developing where they are unable to hold the breath for too long and stretch the note, hence you hear it. You will hear it in Aneek's songs too since he is around the same phase. Raja is more matured and his voice is developed fully as an adult's should be so he does not have that breathing problem. This comparison is baseless.
