Be a True Indian....

I am an Indian and Hindu. I feel really bad because I hear other Indians say that Amanat is the best singer but they will not vote for him because he is a Pakistani. That is unfair. This is the chance for Indians to prove that we are open minded and religion or nationality do not play a role when it comes to justice. We Indians are different. All that I can say is if you think Amanat deserves your vote, please don't stop yourself. He is a 18 yr old kid and if he loses because he is from Pakistan it will convey a very negative message about Indians. India is progressing and so are Indians. Prove it.... Vote for who you truly believe is the best singer... not a good person. This competition is not about voting for a good person it is only about the best singer...
In my opinion Amanat and Aneek are both great singers.... though their mentors are very different. While HR is always promoting Aneek whereas ID never begs for votes like HR.

Amanat is in top 3 speaks volume about Indian junta's support for him. So in my opinion it is unfair to blame Indians at all.

Firstly very well said...and I agree- if you dont like his voice...I dont blame you for not voting for him...but dont ignore him because of his nationality

Secondly, just to clear it up for people: no, if an Indian doesnt vote for him, he/she isnt wrong...but an Indian who likes his voice but doesnt vote for him b.c. he's Paki is wrong 😊 same applies for Pakis- vote for Indians if you like their voice😛

and this doesnt apply to EVERY indian so please dont take it to heart😉

Please don't generalise, who do you think voted for him to make him the top 3 contestant, don't you think Indians made him the top vote gainer in some of the previous episodes. Some of us like all the three singers and wouldn't mind if any one of them wins, and mind you most of us are Indians.
One more thing is why is this morality lecture only for Indians?
Bear it in mind Indians have welcomed in open arms & admired overseas singers like NFAK, Ghulam Ali, Salma agha, Runa Laila, Atif Islam & bands like Fuzon, Junoon, Strings, so don't have any aspersions about Amanat even if he doesn't win.
Now each mentor has his own method of promoting his protege, HR does go overboard sometimes since he suffers from the horrible foot in the mouth disease, but there are times when he has begged votes even for Amanat & Raja. ID & VS do it in more subdued manner which naturally escapes attention.

If the decision to vote only on the basis of singing & music leaving aside regional bias is preached, the same yardstick should be applied towards all those hate-Aneek-for-his-mentors-antics posts and asking to eliminate Aneek to eliminate HR. Aren't there other ways to do it instead of punishing the wrong person for a crime committed by somebody else.

I totally agree. Although I am not Indian, I'm Pakistani, I support Amanat. I enjoy his singing, not because I'm Pakistani, but because I just love to hear him sing. His voice is amazing.

But, I also liked Sumedha very much, and voted for her, too. I didn't focus on whether she was Pakistani or Indian.

India and Pakistan are separated just by a border, a man-made border. Other than that, same culture, same language... Heck, even our people look the same... so I never got why some Indians and Pakistanis dislike each other so much.

I agree completely. My own fav. from the show was Mussarat.
