My take on the voting-
There is no doubt any anyone's mind that several Indians are voting for Amanat. He clearly would have been out earlier w/o a solid Indian vote bank.
I think the original oster is commenting not about all Indians but THOSE Indians who prefer Amanat as a singer, and yet shy away from voting for him for political reasons.
I am a Hindu of Indian origin and have nothing against Indians supporting Raja and Aneek for their singing ability. I am not too proud of those FEW voting for one of them just because they are Indian. Let us not deny, there are those although relatively few :)
@ the ones mentioned in bold above- It doesn't matter whether Indian contestants will be invited to participate / win in other countries. May be not, but so what! Can't we choose to be better? Shouldn't we vote for a foreigner if we prefer him as a singer?
