Raja---AR Rehman--Sukhwinder

No one can dispute that AR Rehman is No1 music director now in India.AR has brought revolution to the indian music industry.

Even HR says he will sing only for AR Rehman and not any other music director.( Sorry HR will sing also for Joy Chakraborty when he becomes a MD)

Now Sukhwinder is one of the favourites of AR Rehman and he always gets one or two songs in almost all movies where AR is music director.He has sung Chaiya Chaiya,Chinnama Chikamma and many more for AR.

I feel Raja's voice is more appealing then Sukhwinder.Certainly AR will look into it and VS with their connections with AR will surely give Raja a chance to sing for AR.

I hope Raja sings for AR and HR sees from far.

Thats a wonderful thought. I wish if A R Rehman has heard any of Raja's performances? He has reached SEL. ARR is the next destination. Hope he gets thro' fast. Its gonna be the biggest break....

Raja has a nice voice for sure...but Sukhwinder Singh is one of the most talented singers in the industry. It'll be hard to match that.

Thats agreed but Sukhwinder has also come from grassroot and SEL has already got Raja singing for them.

People in the forum also always say that Raja sounds like Sukhwinder and Kailash Kher.

He doent sound like anybody. He has his own identity of voice. Yes he has sung Sukhwinder and Kailash songs.

I hope VS announces something big for Raja this week.

I believe, Raja's voice is not really like Sukhwinder , Kailash Kher, it is just that he is excellent singing songs sung by these two. His voice does bot sound anything closer to these two when he sung Kesarya Balam ..Padharo Maro Desh. All of them have different voice textures. When Raja gets to sing song designed by a good composer that exploits Raja's voice textures, we will get to know a new type of voice in our nusic history.

Well why ARR? Not from the filmy or Hype angle, but to be precise ARR ki "surawaat alag kism ki hai....unake gaane bahut alagh suronke andaz mein bandhe hote hai".

Once you work with such a music Director you get a different perspective all together. Your thought process changes and you evolve more musically. It will be the best learning exposure for a talent like Raja who is still a student and his learning attitude will help him to grow.

I feel that Raja is a very talented singer, and you could say that he is a mix between Kailash Kher and Sukhwinder, but I can't say that he is a better singer than them.

However, I do hope that he sings for AR Rehman in the near future, his voice is not a mainsteam singer's voice, which is why it would sound good with Rehman's music (which is BTW THE BEST!!!)
