ZEE TV unveils new reality show

MUMBAI: Zee TV in association with Tata Indicom has announced a treasure hunt game show with celebrities titled Fun on the Run.

The show features eight celebrity duos, who battle it out, physically and emotionally, across nine Indian cities, performing a series of tasks and games for the ultimate grand prize of Rs 2.5 million (Rs 25 lakhs).

The show premieres on 1 September at 7:30 pm on Zee TV with a curtain raiser, followed up by the reality series starting from 8 September at 7.30 pm.

Zee TV head marketing Tarun Mehra said, "We at Zee TV are known for differentiated content on the weekends and are sure that it will appeal to our audiences. We have tasted success with similar innovative programming before and are sure that our second attempt shall be equally successful."

Produced by Contiloe Films, the show will be encapsulated in 13 episode series.

The celebrities who will be part of the show include: Anushka Manchanda and Pratichee Mahapatra, Rajeev and Delnaaz Paul, Bakhtiyar Irani and Tanaaz Irani, Rajesh Kumar and Madhavi Kumar, Kushal Punjabi and Chetan Hansraj, Mukul Dev and Gaurav Gera, Baba Sehgal and Anaida, Ayub Khan and Niharika Khan.
