He is a wonderful singer...

I can understand that Mussarat fans are upset, but that's no reason to bash Sumedha. And, its especially not a good idea when what you're saying is completely illogical and you have nothing to back it up with.

What are you talking about!?! Mussarat has sang PLENTY of songs in various genres, he even sang Himesh's Aap Ki Kashish better than he did. Just because his Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan songs are soooooo good and suit his voice so well, you forget about all the other performances. Any SANE person cannot doubt his voice quality

I think this is absolutely right everyone else is better than him comparatively.

sumedha is better than him and she will go next or poonam

Musarrat really did not have that melodious voice. He tried to emulate the well known Sufi singer but in my opinion failed miserably. I am not a fan of Sufi style singing in the first place, and on top of that Musarrats shouting were unbearable. Particularly in last weeks performance, it looked to me like he lost his way in the song and started screaming without purpose.

Sumedha is quite vesatile (more than Musarrat). Her Qawwali performance and some other performances were quite memorable. Sumedha difinitely deserves to be in. I think next out will (might) be Raja, another singer who sings aimlessly.

I feel sorry for Mussarat. Long way to go.

Mussarat was not versatile, he did some of the most memorable performances in the sufi/semi classical numbers, but whenever he tried to go out of this genre, he has failed. Probably people are now looking for versatility also. No doubt Mussarat is a great singer, and he will stay in the industry for a long long time, but I think in this competition this was the right time for him to go. Amanat, Aneek, Poonam, Sumedha and of course Raja are the few remained, it is now the competition among the equals.

well come on the comp. is about voice quailty not about wether u sing the same songs again and again it doesnt matter as long ur voice is good and u are in sur.
common dont tell me u dont listen to all that they say about staying in thesame genre and all that from her judges.
i think it shouldnt matter wether u sing all the same songs as long as ur doing better than others who arnt doing as well in songs that there not good at
i agree mussarat is good but the rest are good.
its getting really hard for poeple to accept their fav's going out but its a comp. and all of them are sooo good that i dont hink any of them should go but rules are rules

I believe I have heard Sumedha sing songs of multiple genre. Mussarrat on the other hand has always sung the RFAK genre songs. The couple of occasions when he tried experimenting didn't go very well..

Remember, Sumedha was on of the few who got direct entry into Agni-Pareeksha.... She has to have something in her beyond what you see (her visage)😉
