Ehsaan says: Raja Hasan is a singer of the future

Amongst all music directors, the only ones who are truely in touch with their audience are Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. They have an online forum where Ehsaan Noorani himself moderates and keeps answering fans' questions.
Ehsaan today confirmed in a forum post that Raja Hasan had sung for S-E-L for Disney's High School Musical. And when further prodded, he came up with this:
Raja is a singer of the future !!! He rocks and is inherently musical !!!! Vishal and Shekhar are good friends of ours and we have a very good relatonship !!!!!!
Interestingly, S-E-L do keep a close watch on most Saregamapa participants through youtube videos. In a forum post in late July, a forum member brought to Ehsaan's notice Raja Hasan's Maahiya performance from the unreleased Dus (I would love to add in here, that the video was posted on YouTube by me!). Ehsaan confirmed that the composition was their own - in fact the trio's debut film.
It was this power packed "Maahiya" performance that did the trick for Raja Hasan. SEL and Vishal Shekhar, both have a background in jingles are share a wonderful rapport. So it was a matter of time before Raja got his break.
And I would like to give V-S some credit here - to keep the news under wraps until the recording was done.
Interestingly, S-E-L fans keep pointing out to Ehsaan almost all the time about other Saregamapa participants including Amanat and Aneek. But none, other than Raja Hasan and Nihira Joshi from last season have sung for the trio. S-E-L firmly believes that the industry now needs fresh male voices. They tried out new voices like Raman, Salim and Rehan in Heyy Babyy and are still indeed looking for fresh voices.
It wasn't just by chance that they found Raja.
