I don't think his sadness is any excuse. All the mentors are losing contestents who they care about, but no one else has threatened to walk out. They are all sad when it happens, but they move on for the sake of the other contestents in their gharana. Maybe Bappida got overly emotional, and if he apologizes and returns I'm sure everyone will forget about it. But that doesn't make it any less unfair.

Bappida said if Mauli can't stay here than there is no reason for me to stay...I quit.

The reason to stay Sumedha!

I can understand disappointment if your favorite is out but how can you say this on international television when your other contestant is standing on the same stage with you! Does he even know what must be going on in Sumedha's mind at that moment. 😡 How insensitive can you be?😡

I'm so mad at this point I think Sumedha deserves a better mentor.

He's learned WELL from HR haha! Only focus and promote one of your contestants and don't give a hoot about any of the others in your gharana. He could care less about Abhijeet and now Sumedha.

Yeah I am sure she doesn't like him very much. He said "mere paas Mauli hai" a couple of episodes ago. Now he's doing new dramabaazi of walking off the stage for a couple of hours to get his gold shined.

i knew this nonsense would happen again........are you freakin serious bappida?.........im sure mauli will tell him to stay back for sumedha.......if i were her, i definitely wuold say that.......i hate this walk-out drama.....it always happens........but i guess it wouldnt make sense for him to stage a walk-out when his last contestant is out because then it be like "okay, we would have made you go anyway if you didnt decide to leave on your own" hhahhahahahaha.....seriously, how can the gurus be so inconsiderate towards their remaining member of their gharana.........i feel bad for sumedha........i wonder what shes thinking..........i think she rocked today......shes so sweet as is her voice...........naina

Shame on Bappi for only quitting the show for a couple of hours - DANG IT!!!

Sumedha doesn't need this safad triple-chinned haathi for support or to mould her career.She can do that all by herself.Bappi isn't even any use to her.Sumedha has an amazing amount of talent,and I'm sure she'll make it very big without Humpty dumpty's help.Even Shreya goshals first break I think was from Mahesh bhatt and now she's a star.Just watch,after this show................Sumi will be hugely in demand by the MD's!😛
