Written Update - 7th Sept 2007

Hi Friends

Today is the elimination episode and among the top 7, one contestant will get eliminated.. So, lets hope for the best and you all enjoy this ride 😊

The show begins with Mussarat and Raja carrying a briefcase into the stage.. The song golmaal hai bhai sab golmaal hai is played at the back and they both exchange something from the briefcase..

All the contestants along with the singer of Golmaal title song (Anoushka) sing the title song of Golmaal

Aneek is doing weight lifting and without his knowledge, Poonam lifts it in left hand and takes it away.. 😆

Aditya enters the stage and says, its usually me who opens the show, but this time its Anushka who is opening the show and its totally golmaal.. She has come to introduce the show - Fun On the run - a show that is going to commence on saturday.. There is a title song and Anushka sings the song..

Anushka leaves the stage.. Aditya announces that after golmaal its dhamaal on stage and the angrez zamane ke jailor is here with a new kaidhi..

Asrani and Aashish Chowdhary enter the sets.. Asrani delivers the sholay dialogue and at the end says Aadhe idhar jao, aadhae udhar jao, baaki sab bappi lahiri ke peeche jao.. 😆

Asrani says, The new prisoner is Aashish Chowdhary.. they both are working together and that is why he is the new priosoner.. Aashish says, he is missing all the actors but the energy that Asrani has is not there with anyone..

Asrani praises the show and says they are very fair and concentrate only on singing.. They dont indulge in any other sort of discord - Aapas mein discord hote huye bhi cord hain.. wishes all the contestants and asks them to stand up and get the blessings from lord.. Even VS getup to get the blessings..

Asrani says - Attention - all of you sit down.. 😆

Aashish continues to praise the show and says We have the big daddy of music, big daddy of comedy and big daddy of TV shows..

Asrani says, the show is such a huge hit and the standard is so huge that even the railway minister Lalooji came here without the rail..

Aditya announces that All the contestants have decided to make all the viewers laugh though they all are in tension and will not be unhappy for the elimination..

Asrani and Aashish gets seated on the celebrity judges chair..

The globe of fortune is rotated and Aneek is number 1 this time.. Himesh presents the watch to Aneek.. Himesh says he is a very dedicated singer.. I know I promote his love story, but I believe that he deserves it and I do believe that it is not wrong to promote the love story.. I am happy that you all have voted him and given him what he deserves..

Aneek sings ek chatur nar from Padosan.. Himesh says Its an ajooba.. I just want that his hard work be shown and its being shown in ur work..

Asrani - You have sung very well..
Aashish - along with fixing up the appointment for Srgmp, my business manager asked me to check you and vote for you..

Globe of fortune is rotated and Raja is number 2 this time.. Aditya announces that Raja has decided to make both men and women as his fans..

He sings aake seedhi lagi from half ticket.. He is wearing mustache in one side and in another side he looks like a girl.. He sings both in male and female voice..

Vishal - I have never got a chance to sing this way, hope you enjoyed it..
Bappida - you cannot sing kishoreda's this song.. you did very well.. you are the best..
Shekhar - You are a very good singer.. Its a very difficult song and you have done full justice to it.. He also announces that SEL have given him a contract to sing for their film
himesh - Its not a joke to sing song like this.. You are the best
Aashish - you are looking nice.. and all the best and congrats for getting the contract..
Asrani - When Kishoreda would have sung this song, he might not have worn mustache or this lady dress.. Wearing this dress and singing, is very difficult.. he says Raja you search a rani for yourself..

Globe of fortune is again rotated and Mussarat is number 3..

Himesh says, you all are going to laugh so much and he is going to sing the song signal.. We searched so many songs but we could not find any comedy song in his genre.. so, we decided that Mussarat will sing this song and wanted to see, how will it be if Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan sahab sings this song..

He sings signal from bhagam bhaag

Himesh - It is not his best performane.. But to sing comedy song in by a sufi singer is very difficult.. I really hope public understands this and gives you vote..

Asrani - If we would have asked Nusrat sahab to sing this song, he would have said No.. But you did well..

I am worried that you will be eliminated, so request you to sing the same song that you sang on saturday for Asrani and Aashish..

Aashish - keep this comfortable attitude.. Listen to your mentors and they will guide you.. Keep singing this way, you will definitely reach the top..

The globe of fortune is rotated and Amanat is number 4 this week..

Aditya says Raja, Amanat and Aneek had fun in the sets last week.. Amanat for some reason fell into the well and Raja and Amanat took him outside the well.. Then Aneek falls into the well and Raja and Amanat say - "Good that he died" and takes the well and run away.. But Aneek is sitting and having fun there.. 😆😆

Aditya asks about this to the mentors and their replies are as follows:

VS - We are happy that you all are performing so well.. You all are contributing so much..

Bappida - I want to thank Zee for everytime changing the sets and I want to welcome the king of comedy Asrani.. I want to sing a song from tohfa.. Its a comedy song..

Asrani says I have worked with many MDs and there is no one else who has got gold disc, silver disc all all discs and has more than 450 films into his account..

Bappida blesses Aashish and says I think you will make it to the top.. Aashish comes near Bappida and gets his blessings..

ID - I thank voters for saving him everytime.. Please dont break my family..

Amanat sings meri pyaari bindu from padosan..

ID - you sang well and performed well..

Aashish - You sang very well and it was just like original.. the costume just suited you..

Asrani - The way you performed I think his family will never break./.

The globe of fortune is rotated and Poonam is the fifth..
She sings jhooth bole kawa kaate from bobby..


Aashish - your voice is so sweet.. I was tired listening to guys and was waiting for girls.. you did well..

ID - You have sung many songs of different genre, but now your competition is with top singers and you just concentrate on singing.. You also have the blessings from your mother..

Mauli had been to Ahmedabad.. She gets a huge welcome there.. She is tying rakhi for her brother.. Mauli's niece is singing Mayya Mayya.. She requests everyone to vote..

Big 92.1 FM RJ of show naughty Meet comes on sets and says today Sumedha and Mauli will be singing songs of the choice of the Big 92.1 listeners.. The gharana which gets more votes in their poll, gets the chance..

Mauli sings kem che from jis desh mein ganga behti hain..
Sumedha sings Hawaa Hawaai from Mr. India..

Forgot to mention onething - Today Himesh has changed his cap and wearing a cap which says "Change".. the model is itself has changed 😲 😆

Aashish - I am feeling very bad that one of you have to eliminated and I cant just watch that..
Asrani - Chattisgargh and USA - Zindabad..

Bappida - I cant even think that one of you wil have to leave.. We will miss you so much.. The show has number 1 TRP and this stage if you all leave, I dont know what is going to happen..

Shekhar - Both are good singers and feel bad that one of them have to leave.. But dont worry, Bappida is there.. we are there.. best wishes are there with you.
Vishal - we all are of same family.
HR - you all are stars.. We cant say who is the best.. the top 8 are so good..
ID - we have made a bond with all the contestants and it is very difficult when one has to part away when such a bonding has been made.. You both will never be able to forget this moments in life..

The globe of fortune is rotated and Sumedha is shown in the frame.. So, Sumedha is in and Mauli is Out..

Mauli's mama and mami have come on sets..
Mauli hugs Sumedha and layi vi na gayi song is played in the background..

Mauli - I am not feeling good, but happy that there are so many good singers with whom I am competing and loosing to them.. I never thought I will come to top 7.. I am feeling sad because I will miss all of them and there is no injustice.. I have learnt a lot from all of them and love everyone.. I came here to make a name for myself and Dada has given me the name "Indian Shakira".. After going out of SRGMP, I just want to retain the name and do well..

She is crying and so Himesh consoles her and says you need not cry for all this, there will one be one winner and one has to go out one day or the other.. You will definitely do well.. Dont worry about that..

Mauli says I thank my mother for all that she has given for me.. I want to sing Mayya Mayya while leaving..

Maulis' journey is shown.. And even the controversy is show.. When taal performance was shown, she is shown hitting her forehead..

Bappida goes on stage says - "I feel like leaving the stage.. If Mauli is not there, then no use of Bappida also" I Quit..

Just noticed one thg...All three girls are in bottom 3..Doesn't that indicate the same trend as last time(C2005)..But I feel that only one of the remaining two will reach final four this time..I just hope that happens..
