job in railways mmmmmm

10-12k/month "officially" on top of it side-kamai 😉

Vs

Once in a while offer to sing a playback song at 5k/song at most 2-3/year

I would say Poonam has it pretty good 😉 , she can buy record albums of other singers at Rs 1/CD 😆

I think all the singers get to do playback maybe just once, after that not sure.I think, poonam can consider railways after a break in the film industry. 😊

Can't she do both, railway job and same time trying her luck in singing... Laloo said what is reality, how many contestants from these shows got success in music industry till today.... At least she has another option.

I'm in complete agreement with you 😊... Plus... In India it is possible... to pursue it ... in parallel to government job...😉

Singing career

Save Laloo Ji's railway offer for rainy days and hard times, when jobs in the entertainment industry will be scarce. Most likely due to Himesh amassing as many opportunities and resources as possible. After all he will be supporting his massive and ever-expanding HR Harem of Singers & Performers. Himesh, most generous mentor in zee world, bringing our youth from rags to rotis. 😉

I remember what Laloo ji said was like "I have told Rabri Devi that if you Poonam cannot succeed here or nothing comes your way i will get you a job in Railway for you".

I hope Laloo ji won't have to do that for Poonam!!!

This would be a real test for Poonam. On one hand, job in railways would offer stability which will be good for her. She can or opt for trying to settle in mumbai and get signed for stage shows while perusing playback. Hey, Even likes of Kumar Sanu, Ismail are not getting enuf work (my assumption as I have not seen any public output from them in past couple years) and all these reality shows are brining droves of aspiring bollywood singers to mumbai. This will not be easy at all for her.

I wish someone would really professionaly mentor her like Shreya had SLB and she does not have to give up her "roti" for the passion

Take care
