Jane kya chahe mann

Mentors keep praising singers by saying "you have sung better than the original singer " "duwara aap se hi recording karwana chahiye", somehow most of the time could not buy that (except when Mussarat and Aneek sang HR songs, they were far better than the original).

"Jane kya chahe man" is the song never came to my notice(heard it like any other song) before I heard Aneek singing that song. I listened to it "n" no. of times, wish he had sung the full song on SRGMP. Out of curiousity I listened to the original, I was like . This song was really meant for Aneek.

Yes mine too. So, flawless. I could not listen to Zubin's original more than once. I am not saying Zubin is a bad singer. For "Ya Ali" I would always prefer Zubin over Aneek. But this song was meant only for Aneek.

No, I don't think so. He sang it once in the Dia-Shamita episode.

but yes, i think that the "better than the original" comment is now so ghisa-pita. i've heard it on all 3 shows so many times. it's now very annoying.

Better than original for sure. If you listen both verssons it will be pretty evident for u

Yes, it was better than the original. Aneek is so amazing ,most of the songs he have sung are better than the originals. Another example is HR's "shakalaka boom boom." I also liked his bulla ki jane ,dil jo na keh saka and in dino dil mera.

You are 200% correct. I heard the original before once or twice, but never concentrated much. Today after reading your post I heard the original and then Aneek's version. It is a hell and heaven difference. Aneek is so awesome in that song. Just mindblowing. He has sung this song 100 times better than Zubin.
