desi girl, before you call me deaf let me tell you the contest is not about singing only three songs (coz she did everything but singing in her other songs)! you made a comment earlier that Mauli is perfect for singing some of the songs that come out today and I am assuming your are pointing at item numbers! so you think we should give some one the tiltle of saregamapa best singer who can only sing screaming/shouting and ooh/aah numbers and thats too after various improvisation!lol! I must say you do have a high passion for desi music but to make it more bdesi (foreign) like bappi da. so you are definitely not a desi gal who likes her desh or desi compostions. By defending and promoting Mauli's besura act if not sur/tal/laya you are definitely bringing in unnecessary western touch (Mauli's screaming and shouting which are often found in rock songs and these sounds also break into the composotions suddenly with out being in tune) into our indian music which is very well known for having good melody!I wouldn't have mind the new weastern addition if Mauli was keeping alive the indian melody in her redintion by singing in sur, (just how some of the remix singer are doing now like saswati)!but unlike the remix singers Mauli is only focusing on her screaming and ooh aahs thus ruining every compositions and its indian elements! it must be amusing for you seeing, listening and then supporting her guilty act but babe I may not be as passionate music lover as you and Mauli appears to be now😉 ,but I am sensible enough when it comes to respect the musical heritage of my country and that's why I chose to listen and promote singers who respects and have the capacity to sing pure indian compositions. 🤓 So if you ask me now why Mauli should't be in this contest coz the show is titled on saregamapa saptak and Mauli's besura singing shows she knows nothing about it!
