Can the 'Mahabali of Pakistan' establish his power in the musical world?

When Nazakat Ali from Pakistan won the title in 1999 as a participant of Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma, little did he know that his son would soon be known to the world on the same platform. Fondly known as 'Pakistan ke mahabali', Amanat Ali, the affable and charming singer was born to sing. Coming from a family of singers, singing is in Amanat's DNA and he had no problems stepping in to his father's shoes as a singer. At an age when children are busy attending play schools, Amanat was already doing his riyaaz and learning music from Hasan Sadiq and Noha Khan Sahib, noted singers in Pakistan. Before participating in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007, he was the lead singer of a Pakistani band called "Meekal Hasan". Unarguably one of the most talented and versatile singers on the show, Amanat has proved his mettle time and again as all the mentors admit in unison that he is a singer par excellence. Whether it was his rendition of the melodious 'Ya Rabba' or the peppy 'Dil Lutiya', he has always left the audience dancing to his tunes and wanting for more. Amanat considers India as his second home and has adjusted very well to his surroundings. He gets along like a house on fire with fellow contestant Mauli Dave and the two claim to be best friends. Amanat insists that there is no room for unhealthy competition between the contestants and they are more like a family. So will history repeat itself? Will Amanat make his father proud? Thanks for the article. I like Amanat a lot. Real good singer. Amanat and Poonam are the best undoubtedly. I like Raja as well but I guess these two are really good.

Irrespective of whether he wins this competition or not,his future is bright...The mentors,in unanimity, acknowledge his prowess and mastery....I personally feel he's better than Atif Aslam and Adnam Sami(who,incidentally,are doing pretty well in India)...

If Amanat's father won the SRGMP contest just 8 years back, how old was his father at the time?? 😕

he u dont have to be young to participate eh? and 8 years ago am sure they allowed older people to participate, the format of srgma has now changed as times have changed.

His father definitely did not look like a kid that time he looked may be around 35/36. They did show his father's clips from the SRGMP. The same clipping mentioned and showed his uncle as a participant and both of them had been champions (thats what Amanat called them).

He is one of my favorite singer along with Poonam and Aneek.. 😳 Hope he makes to top 2 😊
