Hi everyone,
I'm a big fan of reality shows, especially when it comes to singing, and SRGMP has beenmy most liked and favourite television show.
I watched Fame Gurukul, II2, C2005, EMET, Li'l Champs, andI'm also following II3.
Since, I don't get STAR PLUS here in Canada, I cannot follow SVOI, but I was curious to know how the contestants in SVOI are, so, to kill my curiosity, I watched one episodeof SVOI, in which Govinda was the celebrity guest.The contestants there were good, and it'll be unfair for me to say anything after 1 episode, but from all I heard,I think SRGMP C2007 is the BEST.
Look at the uniqueness C2007 has.
For the first time, contestants from Pakistan are singing, which is y why we get to hear MUSSARAT who is extra-ordinary in sufi songs (which has never been seen in any singing competetion), we have AMANAT who leaves us asking for more, JUNAID who's just a pleasure to hear (and a pleasure to watch, for girls) I mean he has sucha different voice quality which is superb.
We also get to have fun with and listen to a different and unique style of singing, which MAULI has (I'm not her fan though)
Contestants like RAJA are hard to see in any competetion, and SRGMP is so lucky to have a contestant like that. RAJA is just mind-blowing. He also has his own uniqueness and a differentstyle of singing.
Contestants like SUMEDHA, POONAM, HARPREET, and ANEEK have their own different voice quality and sound so good. Each one of them have their own style and uniqueness. However, contestants like these can easily be shifted into an ORDINARY SINGER bracket, if they don't do anything different.
C2005, II2, 3, SVOI did/does have some good singers in it, but for the first time, singers like MUSSARAT,RAJA, MAULI, AMANAT,JUNAID, AND POONAM are exposed to the world through SRGMP. However, I do feel that Himani, Vinit, Nihira,and Sharib were OUTSTANDING in C2005.
I mean, Can anyone ever in II 2,3, SVOI, or even C2005 could sing "sawre" the way Mussarat sang, or sing "Maiyya Maiyya" the way Mauli sang, or sing "Aisa pehli bar hua hai" like Junaid sang, or sing "Naina thag lein ge" like Raja sang, or sing "kadhi aa mil" like Amanat sang. I don't think so. All the other singing competetions have ordinary singers in them, which makes me think that Why would a music director choose these contestants, rather than the already established singers? What do they have unique in them?
Just sharing my views, and would like to know that Do u enjoy C2007 as much as I do. Are u addicted to C2007 like I'm addicted to it.
Just to get the girls interested, almost every contestant in C2007 is good-looking. Isn't it? 😉
Plus, the designers keep on giving different hair styles and different looks to the contestants, which is quite interesting, and goes with the theme
