no, he was the captain at that time.... and since India has never won a cricket world cup before 1983 or after that, it makes ppl praise Kapil more!

and India was out early this year, but Himesh was talking about way back in 1983, when Kapil used to play for India, obviously since Kapil has aged now he cant play for India.

nowadays every cricket team has players around the age group of lets say 19-37!... cricketers retire before reaching their 40s ... and Kapil is obviously way older than 40 or so... so he cant play now, hes not that energetic like before due to age! 😊
