Poor Poonam. She is many times better than the show girl Mauli. She will be the victim to TV Network's mockery of musical talent show. Not only poonam but Amanat. Harpreet, Junaid and Sumedha are all many folds better than Mauli Dave. I feel that all of the ones mentioned abouve wll start dropping out soon.

Agreed. When you put the fate of the show in the hands of the public, anything can happen. Though, personally, I also feel Poonam's singing is far superior to that of Mauli (I'm American... Mauli's singing just is too common here and too obnoxiously pronounced), I also think it depends on taste. If you like Mauli's loud, seductive-type singing, then so be it. But if you like Poonam's powerful, emotionally involved singing, that's fine too.

As long as people vote based on the singing quality and not external factors (physical appearance, personal relationship, clothing style, etc), then it's fair game. This is, in fact, a singing contest. But it's a screwy world, that's too ideal. People'll just be stubborn and keep voting for the same person just because it's their pronounced favorite.

Anyways, I don't think we should give up hope just yet. As good singers get knocked out, those voters may turn in favor of other good singers...and Mauli Dave'll be in for a challenge.

And I think confidence does matter..

Forget about who is more talented..People connect more with someone who is happy and strong..Poonam lacks in this department...
