I think Raja is versatile... but he has not really tried to go out of his genre.

Raja has this mesmerizing piercing voice. That alone will make him stand out in an array of otherwise all excellent singers one day. This is the age of specialists, and Raja's style is his selling point. He should not try the softer romantic type of songs right now, he might look like the rest of the singers then. Mussarat and Mauli took this versatility thing rather seriously/foolishly and exposed their weaker side in the process. I say this because the format has not laid it down clearly that you need to be versatile.

i think he proved his versitality a long time ago with tu hi re.

I am bored now with Raja he always sing Kelash Khair style song.

I agreed some how his song same.....

Are yaar gaane do na jo ga raha hai atleast accha to ga raha hai.....achha gaye to problem hai ki variety nahin hai..... kabhi santhust nahin honge apane yahan ke log... har cheez, har jagah main fault niklana to khoobi ban chuki hai aaj ke logon ki....

Kailash Kher is talented but I prefer Raja to him...

it is something about the delivery that is monotonous. raja is talented, consistent and can do better i think!

Very well said QT... He may have attempted songs from different singers, but the type of songs have been so very similar and the delivery has been still more so... Singing songs of different singers would not mean versatlity, whereas if someone could attempt from the wide range of same singer like Rafi or Kishore, that would be the show of variety...

Raja's talent needs a better doorway than the same kind of songs he keeps on attempting!
