Its true..In the beginning of the show it was VS who brought up their favorite "versatility" issue with Mauli but ofcourse it didnt reach anywhere..she continued with her genre songs, and then eventually they forgot abt it..infact on the other hand, they have been actually encouraging her singing the same kind of songs week after week..very inconsistent opinions..

I guess somewhere down the line zee and the "higher level" ppl took over the show in the name of TRP games and VS or any other mentor had no hold on things anymore, so they just started wow-wowing conveniently forgetting what they had believed and brought up a few weeks back for this contestant..what other reason cud it be that even ID and HR are hoo-hawing over her singing soooo much?!! BL praising her limitlessly is even understandable, she is in his gharana..

Most of the stuff is staged 😡 🤢

Okay here is what I think:

Mauli Dave's Mast song had a lot of enthusiasm and style. She had a good style, but the way she sang it was very bad. 🤢 Sorry mauli fans. But seriously it wasn't good at all. She was screaming,and no offense, every song of hers she tries to make seductive. It's pretty annoying and quite inappropriate for this platform. After Sumedha's and Poonam's performance, out of those 2 girls, Mauli was not even 1/3 of what these two were. I am sad. I am sad because India has chosen to support a singer like Mauli. I feel like in totality we have no capacity of judgment anymore. Every week, some good contestant gets eliminated, and yet we keep on supporting ms. Dave.

Here I come again crossing paths with you. But not in a negative way. Your point is very correct. All 3 mentors are being swayed by Mauli mania. They are not the Gurus any more but Fans. If this is the case should those 5 people be sitting on the chairs of judges? I feel there is a conflict of interest. It seems to me that Ismail Darbar, Himesh Reshammiyaa, Vishal, Shekhar and Bappi Lahiri are all bowled over by Mauli. Even if she comes on to the stage and not sing they will give her 10s. It should really be called "Droolgraph". How can any one trust their judgement?

If this is done just to get their TRP up, I would say that in future, real singers should abstain from such shows. Only crowd puller should be allowed.
