Mauli rose to fame after her Maiyya song which was definitely a mesmerising performance. She is now well associate with this song and has sung this in few other programs.
Yesterday while watching ASVOI , I was blown away by Sumitra's performance. The first song of the show. Her rendition was excellent.. It has all that finesse and undertone of a girl from Turkey. Also her performance was mindblowing. She looks good. after that performance, I think Mauli performance pales drastically in comparison.
Sumitra was superb and its high time SRGMP judges break Mauli spell based on that song and be more fair. There is a lot talent and SUmitra very convincingly outperformed Mauli.
No doubt it was a very calculated move by Gajji to showcas his program's talent and he has certainly proved his point.
