More importance to Rock gharana? - Page 2

Seems like it is fixed. Aneek getting into Rock Gharana. Nirupama not getting a yellow light at all - very odd.

same here. junaid definitely did not deserve to be in the bottom 3. so if this whole thing is fixed then how will the winner be decided in actuality? whoever, the producers want to win will win then? or will the one with the most votes win?

I actually like joy. He has got a different style altogether. very original. But I don't think any fishy thing is going on. I was a fan of Apurva's singing but kind of expected his ouster.

well, do not talk about deserving.... someone is still there who would not deserve a place in there and still going strong.

I think Rock gharana is much stronger then Josh gharana and in some instances Joy and Niripuma have given good performances. Mussarat is incredible at times and Aneek is mind blowing.
Sumedha's performances have not been good until the last 2 and Mauli we know. Abhijit is average. So I also think Josh has been lucky. It all has to do with voting.
Voting does not necessarily give you the best singer. I think we are all aware of that. Now it is not as noticable but wait till it gets to the final 5 or so. I wouldn't be suprised if Mauli from US (American and overseas supporters are excited by her entry), Joy from Assam, Raja from Bikaneer, Amaanat from Dubai and Pakistan , and Niripuma from Tripura end up in the finals. There is something called regionalism and certain regions don't vote. That's the way it goes. Raja and Amaanat are not only good singers but have certain strong regions supporting them. Big city people in India rarely vote and those from towns where these shows aren't watched as much like the south.
