What all you can do:

1. Turn of the TV or switch the channel if you don't like
that particular singer
2. Send as many votes to your favorite contestant/s
3. Evict all the judges and take their place and you know
what to do next
4. Avoid all topics on the internet, magazines,
newspapers, newschannels which show any of the
contestant in poor light
5. Sit dharna in front of saregamapa studio and demand
for changes in rules and send a petition about the
format and modifications you need

Instead what you are doing is:

1. Even if you don't like somebody you listen to his/her
song and try to figure out a way to bash him/her by
picking the minutest mistakes if any although he/she
sings that song very well
2. Lamenting about the forthcoming exit of your favourite
contestant but not at all sending a single vote for
him/her
3. Unnecessarily find fault with the judges comments who
are well versed in music and know what is actually
happening on the sets and the conditions of the
contestants
4. Taking out your frustration by pointing out
deficiencies in other singers who are not your
favourites and also picking fights with other fans
over petty issues.

Friends I have coined this term as "HATE MAULI SYNDROME", but it applies to all hate messages regarding the other contestants as well.

As far as i am concerned i like each and every singer(including those who couldn't make it to the finals) and feel sad when they are voted out. These youngsters live a dream which we can only imagine and the best we can do is share their dream by supporting and encouraging them

well done dude! what's next, are you planning to do some sort phd on this issue or what! your determination to eliminate mauli's critics from this forum is highly detectable! from your research you may as well have found out that the majority of the people on this forum who also have pretty good music knowledge are suffering from your so called syndrom. And it looks like the syndrome is quite contagious coz every time mauli sings thousands and millions of people all over the world get resentful. So a cost effective and highly viable medicine to stop this virus spreading further, would be eliminating the cause of such syndrome. Yeah you've guessed it right that's Mauli's besura singing.😆 😆 😆

Thank you very much for your compliments!! 😃😃
But I wonder why those extremely knowledgable people of music bother to listen to somebody who sings horribly and scratch their heads, get high BP, and suffer from unbearable mental tension.

As i have said earlier they can employ any of the preventive measures like :
a) Use ear plugs or stuff some cotton into the ears,
b) turn down the volume or mute the tv,
c) watch some other channel,
d) turn off the tv,

Now my dear friend how can you prevent someone if he/she is hellbent on exploring the strengths of their vocal chords come what may?😎

Thank you so much for your suggestion on preventive measurements! But tell me one thing how do you actually propose to send your highly recommended suggestions to those people who are not on this forum to get benefited from your innovative advice. Are you planning on sending leaflets on door to door or something! I tell you bro it won't be very cost effective coz there are practically millions of people who are suffering from your so called highly

contagious syndrome all over the world! So I feel you should take Riam's advice on board coz it's very cost effective and it will eliminate the cause of the syndrome from it's root. 😆 😆 😆

Perhaps they are planning to shoot an international advertisement campaign to spread awareness amongst the sufferers. 😆 😆 😆 😆

But really guys... she did not sing so good after her first performance.

Singer needs good consistency and she does not have that quality.
May be she chooses wrong songs or whatever, but the point is she cannot
sing the song beautifully. No dought she sang "maiyaa maiyaa" so beautifully but that's it. After that she is constantly hammering in Head.. with words like "uuhh" "ahaa".. "ummm mast" 😡

No big hit after that song....😭
If india is looking for one hit wonder then there are so many in the queue....
then why Mauli....???? (May be because ZEE is counting oversea $$$)

Aneek, Raja, Juned, Sumedha, .... and many more........!!!!
And believe me.... they deserve much more than this one hit wonder, isn't it?

I totally agree with you. I mean I dun have anything personal against this girl but her singing simply bothers me and this is a singing contest. Just cuz she sang maiyya well doesn't mean she deserves to be on the show. She hasn't given any good performance except maiyya and this is pretty pathetic. She does more acting than singing and this is seriously getting on my nerves. WTH do they call her "shakira"? Shakira gives hits constantly and Mauli truely is a one hit wonder.

If we talk about girls only, all the girls are better than her and others who definitely were better than her have been voted out. This is so not fair.

Please get this woman out of the show. Vote her out, people, PLEASE!

srsly.. lets vote with a bit of common sense

My goodness!! Truer words you couldn't have said. You go, man!

Ramas my dear, you have clearly moved away from my question by stating Mauli's musical history of her family and their various achievements. As a viewer I am really truly not interested in any participant's personal achievements or their family tradition regarding music. It has never been my concern! Since it is a signing contest I am only concern with how she adapts her composition in the show not what she or her musical family did in huston. We are not here to judge her life achievements, you see. So please keep her personal information to your-self dear. Now lets talk about what I was emphasising in my last post that's her 'pakad' (understanding of sur/laya/tal to adapt a song to its required composition). To tell you the truth my dear her cattacha pakad was evident in every single round from her 2nd performance until now. Why do you think this has happen! May be I could help you finding the answer with my knowledge of classical music!

Since you were unable to recognise the real issue from my previous post and I have a feeling that you might bring back the unnecessary family tradition and training information as an explanation. Why this information is unnecessary? Let me explain that with a simple example so you don't move away from the real issue next time😉! The example is I am studying to be a lawyer and up until now I have done brilliantly academically but in future if I fight a case with a weak argument my academic achievements surely won't help me wining the case. the judges wouldn't really care what kind of degree i have got. What would really come to rescue, is my skill and ability to use my academic knowledge for a right purpose at a right time. This ability is my dear, called talent. From my recent work experience I have learned that this talent could also shine out in person who may not have done very well academically and this people are practically blessed. When a highly academically qualified individual fails to put their knowledge into practice reflects their weakness in the understanding of the subject and also the fact that they memorised word to word and page to page like a parrot without understanding their real uses. Thus they do brilliantly when it comes to giving the perfect answer during the exam but in practical situations they get beaten by this single drawback.

Similarly when an aspiring singer learns everything about music without understanding their proper use she/he deliberately fails to pick up (pakad) new songs. And so far the disastrous 'pakad' of her last 6 songs shows, Mauli may have been memorising the big fat book of music since her childhood with the help of her big musical family, but did not understand its adoptation rules. I am really shocked and surprised to know that even after growing up in such a musical environment and learning music for so many years Mauli has so little sense of 'pakad'! Her signing did not deprived from encouragement, inspiration or training so why is she finding it so difficult to sing in tune? Clearly there could be one more thing missing that is talent, which singers like sunidhi chuhan has! Sunidhi is a true example of musical talent as she has such a good sense of 'pakad' that even without having any musical background or training she picks up different genre of songs (such as sweet romantic number 'Dekho na' from fanna, semi-punjabi folk 'meethi meethi basta' from apki khatir, disco-track akhiya na maar and then semi-classical 'more piya' from Ustad and the divas) with great comfort. Whereas so called talented and highly trained Ms. Dave is deliberately distorting every composition in an attempt to sing and she could no way sing with Sunidhi's high range. Same examples can be given for adnan. So plz stop comparing her with sunidhi or adnan sami as you have no idea what kind of range and pakad they have!😳

Great arguments, Juhi. You have talent for that. Oh, I mean "pakad". 😉

Khair, great going, every single word you've said is true. Mauli lacks many things a singer needs.
