But some ppl did not understand or see it.. she was going off pitch in her high notes and she does not pronounces the word correctly .. At times.. she does not hold her notes .. very choppy .. ..these lil things can hurt a song and the singer..

most of her preformances were BELOw average.. but still ppl will vote for her cuz of personal Reasons.. Itz just funny .. when many singer are improving after every show.. she is just getting worst..

okie she may have a good voice for folk and item number.. So does amanat , Mussarat , junaid , Poonam , Joy , Everyone has their own genre that they will excell in.. but that does not give them reason to give horrible performances... This is SRGMP.. not the next bathroom singer...

sunsilk ji that's what I feel too... but is that the right thing to do? we need to focus on the objective.. as far as I know the objective here is to find a person who can sing all kind of songs the best put of all contestents... is that right???

I disagree with all of you. And I'm not saying all this because she's from the USA or because she's Gujarati or even because she's close to our family.
But she really has a nice voice for songs similar for Maiya Maiya. Songs like Taal se Taal Mila are not suitable for her. I agree that she sung the song very bad. Her pickup was horrible and she could have done way better, but all of you fail to understand she still has a good voice for "item numbers."
But I hope in the coming rounds she shows more improvement and selects songs that are actually suitable for her voice.

Thanks for recognising her one of weakness finally! But sweety you need to understand that she is catchha in sur! having nice voice is not enoguh to win a singing contest. one needs to be equally good in picking up sur/ taal which your dear friend clearly struggling. from her second performence she has been giving bad performence one after another but pple who sang much better compare to her got voted out unfairly becoz of Himmy sir's kindness towadrs MS. Dave! this vishwaudh is not about finding some one who can only one kind of song and in Mauil's case it is only one song Mayyia Mayyia, isn't it darling.😉 do you thing its really fair!😉

we totally agree with you! she already got too many chances whereas others were never given a second chance😡! if it's not Mauli trying to learn to sing contest than lets do something to vote her out!

Ha!! One performance??? R u serious? Have u been listening to her over the past 2 months? Frankly speaking, she has brutally murdered every single song since "Maiyya maiyya". It's SRGMP propaganda for even keeping her in the show.

My point is not difference in taste but I think the original song is a big hit and the way she sang I felt like it was totally changed/distorted(if I can use that word, sorry in advance if someone feel offended by that word, I am using that term in comparison with original one) ....may be I am wrong as I am not the music expert I am saying what I felt after hearing...

yes she is changing the songs as her needs go(and we have precedents of people doing it from last year too😉,changing tracks or singing it at a lower scale) and she will still get voted in for that reason

for her voters that is an acceptable distortion

again the defination of singing has changed and tastes have changed accordingly selection criteria have changed, it doesnt matter if she is a girl or an NRI, we have seen the same phenomenon a few times irrespective, maybe they used to call it X-factor then, now they call it Y factor😆

but I refuse to say this is for the first time😆 and I dont take that big of a exception to this now😉
