I haven't heard the entire jugalbandi... just the two lines that's posted in this video... from this short clip, it looks like Harpreet captured the essence and mood of the song much better than Junaid. However, I would have liked to listen to the entire sequence to reach a proper conclusion.

I really and sincerly hope that Harpreet gets entry into Agnipariksha. He is the MOST deserving !!!

I cant tell cause they cut Junaids part they were both soo good but Junaid had a lil more passion in his part. 😕

Can't say based on what we heard. Harpreet got the first part (w/o music), so he could go slow, deep and create a mood. Junaid sang the next part, with music, and had to be a little faster, so he couldn't get the opportunity to create that mood.

As far as their voices are concerned, I was impressed with Junaid's voice modulation. He created the same distant effect that we heard in the original song. In comparison, Harpreet was singing in monotone.

Very hard to say anything based on those 2 lines we heard, but for voice, I would pick Junaid.

Both of them were good but you can't tell by just 2 lines. Well anyway I like Junaid's voice a little bit better than Harpreet's but Harpreet is awesome too!

I liked Harpreet much better in this performance, but the song wasn't quite suitable for Junaid imo.
