AR's and Asha, Sonu, Kunal ect.....

In Houston we had 2 concerts on 2 consectitive week-ends.

The first one was with Asha, Kunal, Sonu and Kailash in it. It was an OK show as more songs were sung by Kunal and Kailash. The audience paid to hear Asha and Sonu more. But unfortunately that did not occur. They did not perform a single duet together as their egos kept them from performing together. In fact no 2 artists were on stage at the same time due to their egos. IT was a big disappointment for the audience.

The following week-end was the concert with AR Rahaman. It was a disaster. IT started late(surprise ...surprise). The sound system was poor. At no time there were more than 12 musicians on the stage at the same time. They had promised 18 musicians performing together with the great AR conducting the orchestra. More south Indian songs were sung that left the audience extremely disapointed. The next day people complained on the local radio show to the organisers(Seven Seas production) about the show. THe organisers(cowards) passed on the blame to AR Rahman himself and gave excuses about coming in late from Austin etc. They do not realise that people spend time and money to see these shows that always fall so short of expectations.

Sorry you were out of luck. I had been to both the shows in Dallas and it was fantastic, specially AR Rahman show.

I saw Asha and Sonu in Boston (it was the Incredibles Lite without Kunal and
the others) and while I at first thought that we were being cheated, it turned
out to be a good thing as Asha sang first and Sonu was great they did do
the duet at the end.

I wish I could watch the show without Kunal. Kunal was so damn annoying. I thoroughly enjoyed Kailash Kher. The show would have been perfect without Kunal.

BUT CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THE NAME OF THE GIRL IN THE AR RAHMAN SHOW?

Geeeez!!!!!How sad he did not sing North Indian songs and sang South Indian songs.😭

By the way did he sing all the 4 languages you mean to say?What is south indian song?

the girl is Chinmayee who is a new favourite in ARR team. She sang one of the songs in GUru also.
