I think we all are mature enough to have any comparison and discussion of our choice as long as we do it about music. Life is best when it is lived free-style, somehow the atmosphere in IF is no longer what it was before. I think no topic should be closed even if
it is positively criticising a MD/singer etc. It is more difficult to restrain yourself than being trigger happy.....
I'm an irregular visitor to this forum now but I miss the old timers of C 2005 who must have stopped visiting forum for similar reasons...

Neeraj I comletely agree with your feelings. But just for your information let me tell you, this decision was taken after lot of deliberation by the Dev Team. Lot of bitterness was cropping among the fellow members when such comparision topics were being created.

We all here are like a family. And bitterness among ourselves is the last thing we want. Atleast the Dev Team and many senior members feels this. Also everyone is not of the same maturity as you or me. There are too many kids also here.

Lastly it has been repeatedly informed that please don't bring Dev team decision related issues on the open forum. You have griviences send a PM and sort it out. I hope in future the same is not repeated.... please.

Just a note from the Dev team here. Not a single post after this on this issue will be entertained in this topic.

I expected SVOI to catch up eventually. Not because it is the better show or is more attractive to viewers (that issue is still debatable - and the TRPs are too close to make a call on that), but because it is at the prime spot on Star Plus, and has taken the spot of the top K-shows. Now I'm not going to get into another discussion on how that helps the rest of the shows in that slot. Already discussed and proven my point long back.

I think the shows are neck to neck - SRGMP's first half did better than SVOI, and SVOI's second half did better than SRGMP. Having said that, the difference is miniscule, and within the margin of error. So let's accept that both shows are doing well and be happy for both.

P.S. I don't think SVOI is doing any better than the K-serials that were in its spot before it started. In fact, it has dipped in comparison. I wouldn't call that an improvement for Star.

always pays when a show is picked up by the higher ranked channel😉 Sure, sure, has nothing to do with intrinsic worth of the show. any show would have done well, no?😛😆

trend is up for svoi. it started behind sgmp.

from what i hear, some of the k-serials were over and the new ones were not exactly setting the lil screen on fire. so relative to where they could have been without svoi, perhaps svoi turned out well for them.😉

and yes, am happy for both shows. koi bhee show ho, bas show hona chahiye😆
