Written Update - 15th June 2007

Hello Friends 😛

lets begin the musical journey here 😳

The episode starts with Aditya greeting everyone and introducing the mentors.. VS are missing and Aditya announces that today's episode is dedicated to Vishal and Shekhar..

Performance by Vishal-Shekhar:

They enter the stage and start singing Allah ke bande.. What a performance.. They were enjoying themselves and jumping here and there all over the stage.. In short, stage ka poora utilize kiya 😆 The contestants also join them and start singing.. They end it with the song Right here - Right Now.. The energy was just awesome 👏

Bappida first comments on their performance and says that was outstanding performance and wish them luck.. he says it was a great fusion of Qawalli and Rock and right here and right now was also a good one..

Then comes the comments from Himesh.. He says i used to call u both Vishal and Shekhar and now I will call u Vishalji and Shekharji.. Vishal says if he calls them with Ji, then they will also have to call them Himeshji.. Himesh says, its because of their work.. He then says - Kya kahoon?? Shekhar says - "Roti hain, kapda hain, makaan hain" 🤣 Himesh laughs and says this Roti has become hit now.. 😆 He then saultes the concept of C2007 for having all the singers from all over the world here for performing..

Aditya asks how the jodi was made?? In just humorous sense Vishal says his parents went to Shekhar's house and Shekhar's parents came to his house and the marriage was done in 1999 🤣 Then says - They have known each other since 1993 and performed in english concerts.. Then they came together in Pyaar mein kabhi kabhi with each one doing one song and the title song they did together..

Ismail comments saying - Im not a poet but still I will say few lines -
To Vishal - Tum Vishaal ho, tumhaari andar mashaal hain
To Shekhar - Tum Shekhar ho, tumhaare andar ek sher paaya maine
Then wishes them luck..

Bappida starts singing Mumbai Nagariya and VS joins them..

Performance by Contestants:

Rock Gharana:


Nirupama sings Sholon si From Shabd.. One more good thing about this episode they have started putting sub titles of what is the song sung by contestants and what is the movie name.. 😃

After her singing, Vishal starts singing the song then joins Shekhar.. Vishal says he has sung the song and she sang in the same key as his.. Thats good, but she should have tried in her own key as high notes were shrinking..
Joy sings Tu hain aasman mein from Jhankaar Beats..

VS joins him at the end to sing.. Shekhar says there is a speciality about this song.. In the room where they were all sitting, Shekhar sang the first line and then Vishal sang.. Everyone were so much involved in this song.. God was there with us and he is with you also.. Sang very well..

Comments:

ID - Joy, Im Joy.. Nirupama also did equally well..
HR - Joy's voice suites today's music.. he has good attitude, tonal quality and he has the right spirit to catch the feel in the song.. There were some mistakes which mahaguru's will point out..
Bappida - Sings a song for them both in Bengali and then wish them luck..

Rajesh Roshan - Nirupama could have done better by keeping the scale low and Joy did extremely well..

Yalgaar Gharana:

Wasi sings Saaki Saaki from Musafir

Jyoti sings Deedar de from Dus

Vishal - Both of you sang very well.. Shekhar - Today we will not comment. We want others to comment as our song is being sung and we both are also on stage along with you today.. Thanks zee and guru's for the concept..

Bappida - High notes were good for Wasi but low notes were not.. Shekhar interrupts and says the low notes were sung by Sunidhi.. But Bappida points out other episodes and says he has done a mistake..

HR - If you had a half note higher, it could have been better..

ID - You both sang well.. Jyothi says its all the blessings of you all.. ID and HR say the whole world is with you.. Allah ke bande hasde.. Then HR comments for this song - VS rocks..

Khayyam - Sang well.. ID is there with you all..
Rajesh - Wasi could have done better in low notes.. But happens at times..

Josh Gharana:

Reecha sings Pyaar ki ek kahaani from Honey Moon travels Pvt Limited..

Sikander sings musu musu hasi.. Very good performance 👏

Comments:

HR - Sikander sahab was very good.. Reecha also sang well
Vishal - Reecha sang it very well.. When Sikander met VS in green room he said, he said to Sikander that this song has to be sung with innocence and that he has done the right justice.. Shekhar says if this song is re recorded, his voice would be the best..
Bappida - Reecha is a classical singer and she has sung this film song very well.. Sikander can stay in India.. India is calling him..

Khayyam - Mashallah, Chashme Baddur - Reecha sang well.. Whatever people have said about Sikander is absolutely right..

Rajesh - Reecha sang very well.. The song musu musu hasi is very good composition and Sikander has sung beautifully.. He must stay in India..

Hit It Gharana:

Sumana Ganguly sings Tinka Tinka from Karam

A small AV is shown where Binoy, Sayan and Raza Hasan from Eklavya Gharana perform on stage to get selected in Hit IT squad.. After Raza Hasan's performance, everyone is impressed and VS take him into their gharana
Raza Hasan perform Allah ke bande from waisa bhi hota hai.. Excellent Performance 👏 There was right soul - too good.. He enjoyed the song while singing..

Comments:

Shekhar to Aditya I am proud to be part of this show where everyone is singing really well..
Vishal - If everyone sings the song enjoying the song the task of Music Director becomes really easy..
HR - Kamaal gaya Raza ne.. ID - Raza ne gazab gaya..
Bappida - Sumana also sang well..

Rajesh - Sumana's words were not clear.. Raza is a hit

Results:

Joy of Rock Gharana and Nirupama of Rock Gharana get the Green Card

Pentagram makes a special appearence and Vishal introduces the band members.. Shekhar sings the song dil se mere door na jaana to his parents, then his wife, whom he loves a lot and to his 4.5 yrs daughter Bipasha 😊

Out of 6 in agnipariksha 3 are from Rock and 1 each from rest of the gharanas.Unlike last year himesh is leading with most number of people.

Thanks for the update...... but from update it seemed Sikander and Raza were better than Joy..... then how did he get green, so is Nirupama 😆
