Each network wants audiences and make more Advertisement Revenue. Very simple - There are three independent channels fighting for audiences/ TRP's/ Ad money.

I really don't understand!!! I think all of them are pretty good, though Indian Idol's taking a rather stupid turn of events...

On Fridays srgmp overlaps indian idol... Which might be pretty irritating.... Well, you can watch both too 😆
