still off topic by the logic mentioned above? 😛 i dont think so. Think about what questions you ask before you make a comment like that 😊. I just showed you why they were not quite boosting contestants confidence, since you asked.
That is why I say one should follow the debate from the start, rather than jumping in mid-way. You saw my question, but didn't see what my question was relating to (or you did see it and conveniently ignored it).
Let me post the whole thing - Aphro's comment and my response to it:

Precisely my point. Now apply it to the other mentors. Why would THEY want publicity? Maybe they just wanted to boost the contestants' confidence. Think about that next time before you make a comment like that 😊
Now you see, Aphro says why would VS want publicity? They are simply offering a chance to the contestants to boost their performance, and to motivate others to perform better.
I simply said - yes. Apply that same argument to all the mentors. Why would they want publicity by offering chances to singers? They want to offer chances to bosst their performance.
Note - the issue still is on track - relating to mentors giving contestants chances. When I asked about publicity - I wasn't talking about publicity in various ways - whether by insulting contestants, singing songs, doing movies, or giving insulting interviews. I was only talking in context of offering them a chance. Same for boosting confidence - again within the context of offering chances.
Next time, please keep the context of the conversation in mind. For that, you have to read the whole debate from the start, not join in midway.
