Atlast got my cable line corrected 😛 😆 So, here is the update for today 😊

The show commences with Aditya singing Kaho naa pyaar hain title song.. In the middle of the song, he introduces the Mentors and then again continues the song.. He then introduces the mahaguru's and also the theme

Prize Money Contract - Today Aditya announces the contract winning money for the winners.. The contract is for 50 lakhs and also they will get the Chevrolet's Spark..

Theme - Khayyam sahab and Rajesh Roshan special

Mussarat sings Yeh chandini raat and Poonam sings Hain dile nadaan

Rock Gharana:

Before the performance HR says - for the past 100 years, there may be only 12-13 legends and in that 8-9 have come to this show.. So, this show automatically becomes the best..

Anita Bhatt sings Jab Chaaye mera jadoo

Comments:

Shrekhar - Its a great composition - Anita sang well..
Bappida - In Anthra the voice did not open.. But over all good performance
ID - Anthra was not proper.. The voice did not open - but she caught the mistake and corrected next time when she sang..
HR - The voice was not opening, She tried the best..
Khayyam - The throat should have been better by now.. You are a good singer, can perform better
Rajesh - Good try.. You were very close to original

Hit IT Gharana:

Junaid sings main pal do pal ka shayar hoon.. Good performance 👏

Saberi sings Pardesiya yeh sach hain piya.. Good performance again

Aditya after Shaberi's performance says that this was the first film where Amitabh was given the chance to sing by Rajesh Roshan who was once rejected by the Radio companies for hosting the shows.. Rajesh then said, this was a group decision that the song would suite Amitabh..

Comments:

VS - Both of you are selected for the VS recording company started by Vishal and Shekhar.. They both stand and welcome them to their recording company..

ID - The impact that the song should have had, was not there

Vishal - The performance can be bad one day and good the other day.. Dont bother about it.. You both are going to rock
Bappida - Shaberi is one of the best performer in this vishwayudh
HR - Junaid sings very well and he will go far..

Josh Gharana:

Mauli sings main idhar chali main udhar chali from Koi mil gaya

Harpreet sings Kyun chalti hain pawan from kaho na pyaar hain.. Good performance 👏

ID - Will speak about the person for whom he is the fan.. For the first time, Mauli did not sing well in the mood
HR - There are only certain songs for which your voice suites.. Select the songs which you feel you can sing.. Again speaks about the versatility and says if one singer is comfortable with one genre, then that singer must sing only in that genre.. Vishal starts speaking and HR says he will first complete his talk.. There are many who have got attached to the singers and when they get out because of one bad performance it really hurts.. Says Rajesh Roshan might not have heard Mayya Mayya, so asks her to sing the song.. She sings the full song again..

Vishal says - Today we have to decide two things

If a singer is given a second chance to sing, then all the singers who perform bad must also be given the chance to sing for the second time
1. Second is - For what this contest is for - Is it for the singer who sings in all genre or only for the singer who can sing one type of song
   

Himesh then says - I cannot say KL Saigal sahab to sing in Kishore Kumar's voice.. Each one has different voice and they must sing only that type of songs that will suite them..

Bappida then says - Champion hit ho naa ho, album hit hona chahiye.. he then thanks zee for giving such a big platform

Rajesh - The way you sang Maiyya Maiyya, that style we have never heard any time and its very different.. If you had sung with the same spirit in your performance today, you could have done better.. But today there was one who really touched the heart and that is Harpreet.. He says - Hawa bhi thaa, ghataa jhoom rahi thi aur main bhi jhoom raha thaa

Brijesh sings dil kya karein jab kisi se

After the performance, Aditya says for this song Rajesh Roshan got filmfare in 1975 and after 25 yrs, he got the award for Kaho naa pyaar hain..

Comments:

BL - He hums the song and says there was no soul in it
VS - This is such a song where you should not make any mistake, but you did it..
ID - He says - "Pan ki ya Vada Pav ki dukaan kholo, gaana mat gaana"
VS - Do not feel for what ID has said as he has lot of hopes on you.. You are a good singer..

Khayyam - You are a great singer.. you can do well.. Do not feel bad for what ID said..

Brijesh then starts crying...
