Himesh Ka Suroor!

He has been booed by everyone, be it critics or film makers or the media. And this has been a trend for everything he does – his music, his nasal voice, his fashion statement or him getting into acting. But Himesh Reshammiya isn't bogged down by any of these. He has constantly proved that he is the man of the moment.

With promos of his movie Aap Ka Suroor being aired on every channel and the music setting the charts afire, it seems he has yet again proved his critics wrong. The film, according to trade sources, been bought by Adlabs for a whopping Rs 22 crore (keeping in mind all the judgments that he cannot act for nuts!) and is set to be released next month. The budget of the whole film has not been revealed.

Apparently Aap Ka Suroor is a film based on the real life love story of Himesh Reshammiya, where he shares with the audience, the inspiration behind his singing. The film is being directed by Prashant Chadha. It's a love story.

"The expectations are tremendous. I am looking forward to the movie. You see, this is Himesh's first film as an actor. He has been a very successful music director and singer. So there is a natural curiosity about how he fares well on screen. Plus he will be seen without his cap," says trade analyst and senior journalist Taran Adarsh.

"Himesh's success is phenomenal. Whenever he tries to come up everyone tries to pull him down. Himesh has just swam across tides and proved himself. Today he is someone who is immensely successful and without a doubt sales have gone up due to him," added Adarsh.

The promo of the film is already creating waves. The singer-musician is apparently leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film is a hit. And looking at his track record, his hard work should pay and everyone related to the movie will be running all the way to the bank.
