What kind of songs you enjoy or feel like listening to at saregamapa...Is it sufi, romantic, songs with fast beat, old melodies, new melodies etc etc..What has been your most favorite song in saregamapa 07 so far..

i know what i dont want to hear..songs already sung a dozen times by past singers..infact i dread it..

i want the singer to take any song of any genre and make me rediscover it if i have already heard it, or if it is an unfamiliar song, make merush to look for the original song on the net..that makes my day and i will surely vote for her/him..

I want to hear songs which shows the versatility of the singers. It might be old, new, but something special with precise sur. Might be folk, regional anything.

all kinds of songs...preference for melodious songs old or new rather than item numbers not that i have anything against item numbers as such...no fav song/performance so far in 2007

I want to hear all the genres.. Only then one can know the versatility of the singer.. I want to hear more soft numbers though

I like to hear all kinds of songs... old, new, ghazals, fast beat, folk, etc... What I would like the most is to hear FRESH songs and new themes. For example, even though it was difficult for most of the singers to render, it was such a treat to hear a tribute to Raj Kapoor. I really enjoyed the medley by all singers.

I am tired of hearing the same old songs of R.D.Burman, A.R.Rehman, Ismail Darbar, Shaadi songs, etc... If they have to choose those themes, they don't need to sing songs that have been overdone!! For example, Nihira made such a sensation when she sang "I love you" on R.D. Burman night.
