Is mentor's special a good idea? - Page 4

This are all not sung by HR.... and u have some others sung by HR too😉

For VS also u can get 8 nice tracks easily.... but i agree that they may be similar😊

I agree... Every mentor don't have the variety of songs. HR's songs are all one type while ID hardly have many. Yes among these only Bappida has the variety. So best is to go by general themes or as Jaddo bhai said all mentor's together in one episode.

HR, a singer surely have only one type.... but HR a MD has a lot of variety of songs😊

He really has the variety which none of the other mentors have.... only thing is he sticks to one genre for certain perid....

First period was for melodies.... second for some nice songs from Hamraaz, run, etc.... then was few sensuous songs from Aitraaz.... a few sufi and quawaali.... and also his own songs.... he has more than 4 types😆

mentors spl restricts the choice of song to jusge a singers versatality..since its been sed before, wont give a bhaashan.. 😆
themes i guess r a better way 2 judge a singers versatality...also, i liked d ols format wen Sonu Nigam was d host...sum1 sed dis..i think.. 😕

HR's really melodious numbers, there are a few but not enough for all? what if all participants want to sing melodious songs?

If HR song is sung, after every song he will sing to show the participant how it needs to be sung...then all composition down the drain, we will only have one genre output... 😕 and 8 times of that in an episode...!!!!!!

Having one round of all mentors songs makes sense. Like I said before except for Bappida none others have that wide variety, they are very typical.... its impossible to pick so many songs

yeah i agree he should not sing all the songs,....😆.... why u want all to pick up melodious then where is versatility😉.....

Of course it will be one round only so only 8 songs have to be picked from 1000 tunes....😆....

even VS has 8 popular songs to select but they have been involved only with dance numbers....

ID episode even if u dont have many songs each of his song is worth recognition then why not😊

I agree to everyone, but all the gurus have shishyas who are masters of different types of songs. For example, in the IDs round, every group has put forward the people whom, the MDs thought, to have control over the sur. Some people are there who prefers the item numbers more. It is a bit puzzling.

I didnot know some of the songs above are by HR as MD even if he is not the singer. I do like some of them.😳

But ID still rocks....😆 I would have loved to see ARR and ID as mentors together.....😳

Each and every MD have certain type of songs in which they gain the mastery.. There are not only suf numbers done by HR, he too has some soft songs in his credit.. The songs from Banaras, Aitraaz are few among them.. And there are also few songs that are not known to many.. The contestants anyway are going to choose songs in which they are comfortable. So, they can always choose soft numbers or fast tracks according to their choice..

Infact I would say its a good idea because the contestants are going to work with these MDs in the future.. MDs will get an idea of how comfortable are the contestants in singing their songs and contestants will get an idea about the songs given by the MDs under whom they will be working in future.. So, its always good to have mentors special
