Vinit As New Host-Article

I just found this article ...I dont know if its been posted or not

After the stupendous success of C-2005, Gajji thought of making a sequal to it by coining "SRGMP Middle East Muqabla Challenge 2006" with auditions done from all over Middle East countries.

The show is a step away from quarter finals being telecast in Middle East. We have had Kumar Shanu judging the forst three episodes as a solo judge after whom we have had Lalit (of Jatin-Lalit composer's fame).

The surprise package...mmmm...should I say "surprise small package" has been the 'Topiwala Tendulkar', the 'hand-pump' and the most talented singer discovered by SRGMP during C-05, who is anchoring the C-06. Yes, I am talking of Vinit Singh, who has already shown his promising abilities as a singer and now has excelled and surpassed everyones expectations to be hosting the Challenge 2006 SRGMp Show in Dubai.


Back to Vinit....

Gajji said ," Some of us thought he was too young to take on the responsibility but the confidence that Vinit showed in anchoring the "SaReGaMAPa at Dubai had us spellbound." .....was there any doubt about his confidence and his singing abilities,No! but yes, to be anchoring a pure musical show of the stature of SRGMP is a revealation. It just goes to show how much faith Gajji has in this 'little wonder', in his singing abilities.
I for one, just wait to watch Vinit sing the opening song during each episode.

Vinit adds," I wasn't the least self-conscious doing it. I realised some of the contestants were older than me.However, whats my age and size got to do with my abilities".
Only a talented singer having immense confidence in himself can say this....just the way he had said, "Hum aapki jooti ke baraabar hein, lekin hume bhi music ke baare nein thoda pata hai".

Way to go Vinit and hats off to Himesh Reshammiya to have entrusted full faith and confidence in Vinit. So what if he did not win the C-05.
He has the whole future ahead of him to be the real winner leaving behind the C-05 winner in the trail."

does this give some indication for gajji's favourite in C 2005😉

This i guess is a very old article.. Gajji is not part of srgmp any more.. If he was to start any competition in dubai, it wouldnt be srgmp as tats the copy right of zee.. Lets wait for the author to provide a resource.. If not, we will consider it as an old article 😊

yes this is an old article because it said challenge 2006...i think it already happened and is over

u r right anu,this is very old article..........i had been to its auditions with my friend in jan.2006,but sad she wasnt selected😕...........i think ke after vinit,vishwas was the host of this SRGMP middle-east muqabla.......i didnt know much after june 2006 as i was not there in dubai.................i have read somewhere that Aamaanat Ali(c-2007 yalgar gharana contestant) won that competion beating Wasi(another C-2007 contestant from Pakistan)😛

this is definitely an old article, he did host the middle east muqabla in 2006...i have watched those episodes and can tell u that vinit is not upto the mark as a host, he's boring, in fact he did not contribute much to the show..vishwas who hosted the next one was comparatively better...
