i dunt think being frm indai or sumthing has anything to do with winning if she sings like she is doing rite now she might just take the trophy home!

but in 19th episode Poonam was really good

Mauli may have talent, but she is not very versatile YET! . It's too early to tell anything. I wish Anik would come fast!

There is nothing to suggest so far that she does not have talent.. The only thing we know until now is that she is better than quite a few others...😊...I won't begin to doubt her talent until proven otherwise..😊

How do you know that? Have you heard her sing anything other than item songs?..What we know until now is that she sings items songs really well...What we don't know is how well she can handle romantic and sad songs...and why should we comment on something that we don't know?😛

I agree with Manish. I am not a fan of Mauli but to question her talent without listening to her in other genres is not correct. How do we know that she is not good in them? She may very well be.

I have read that Mauli and her brother Omkar has cut a CD of Gujrathi bhajans. I am really keen to listen to them. If she can sing item numbers and bhajans at equal ease, then I she has a point to prove.

Are her Gujju bhajans available somewhere online?

Mauli Dave is bold, one of the better looking girls with some talent. She is part of some band in Houston, Texas. I have watched her video clips on Youtube. She is fine as a band singer. But in my personal view, from what I have seen, she is not of the calibre of some established playback singer in the voice quality. She can act and sing good enough to impress some of the young judges. She did not impress Asha Bhonsle and also me. I would trust in Asha Bhonsle's judgement. Wheter she will win this competition, no one can tell. It all depends on how the public views her. She will surely come up to public voting stage, thanks to her admiring judges. There are much better singers in the competition.
