That would also mean that the Crutches guy in C05 shoulda won, and not Debojit... that would also mean that Niladri/ Vineeta shoulda won cuz they didn't get to far in C05...that would mean that the most struggling person shoulda win, and not the most talented, or the most deserving...which is, what I think, not what many people want.
If Sumedha sings good, and deserving, and in people's heart's she'll win...if not, we can't help it...

....

What the heck!!!

Living in the US = Comfortable life?????

Do you know how hard we work here...??!! And most of my friends / family in India are far far better off than me!!!

And even if it means comfortable life - does that mean she should give way to the "less-fortunate-than-her" contestants from India??

Geez....some people......😒

This is true. My relatives living in America work three times as hard as my relatives living in India. Some of my cousins and siblings in America have had jobs since they were 13 years old and my cousins in India who are the same age have not lifted a finger. Ever. They are living off of their parents' money whereas the ones in America are working so that they can help their parents.

Please don't use such backward logic to make your point. This competition should be based on talent. Not on something so subjective as who needs it more.

I think this is very biased. I don't think anyone should think like that. I don't care who the heck wins as long as they are talented and win only on their merits and not b/c 20 million people voted for him/her 😉. I don't care if Mauli is a muti-millionare or is from middle class, if she has the talent then she deserves it, if she doesn't then she does not deserve it. The bottom line is: this is a competition, you compete with one another's talent. Comfortable life? I don't think anyone has a comfortable life...even the richest have worries of their own...so deep down we are pretty much the same. You never know Sumedha could be five times richer than Mauli b/c some farmers have enormous mansions and i have seen them (i am talking about another rural village and not chattisgarh- just to be clear and i bet there are some super rich people in chattisgarh).....don't judge a book by its cover....don't judge her based on her hometown if you want to judge them then do it based on talent.

Right now, the only person who is blessed is Bappi da. Not only does he have lots and lots of gold, but he also has Mauli, Sumedha, and Reecha in his gharana 😳

Forgive me, I thought we lived in an "advanced" time, but the following statement proves me wrong:
"Ok I don't want to be mean but Mauli is from the US. Which means she leads a very comfortable life in the US. In India people don't have such a blessed lives and I think that an Indian should win."

If this is not a racist/prejudiced attitude then I don't know what is. (Forgive me for saying this but I cannot keep quiet, I do not mean to start an argument...I was simply provoked beyond tolerance) Firstly, as many have said we cannot judge a person by said wealth. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is a singing contest not a contest about improving the life of the "poor" or less better off. Hence it should be judged solely on talent and not a person's "wealth" or lack thereof.

Secondly, as for life in the US being comfortable...well I dare you to even live and work one day in the US and then tell me how easy and comfortable life is here...people work there butts off...why do you think we have obesity problems? because moms are not always home to cook and kids and the citizens end up eating unhealthy fast foods which simply destroy health and increase obesity.

I apologize if I have offended anyone I have no such intention. I just want it to be clear that (1) it is wrong to vote or not vote for people because of where they come from that IS Prejudice and Racist thought (2) Just because you come/live in America this does NOT mean you lead a comfortable life and thus deserve no chance to win a competition (even if you are worthy of it)
