😆 😆 😆 Seriously,it was so melodramatic and hammy..Well,he's become an actor now, hasnt he??...Jeez,I dread to think how histrionic his film would turn out to be 😆 He has zilch subtlety ,and unless he cuts down on these little animated outburts,he's simply gonna be the butt of ridicule all over again....

That would be too lenient on Himmy Mia, Sinhaji. He needs to be deported to antartica ... let him sing there at his nasal best ... it will freeze his nose and his arrogant mindset once and for all !!!

😉 😉 😉

SS, good to see you back here too.
BTW, talking about nasal singing, there was a link posted here where Himmy is advising Nanu (C2005) not to be nasal 😆. Of course (as was apparent to anyone who's watched it), that episode was shot was before his "Aashiq Banaya Aapne" hit the charts.

Moral of the story is - zyaada dimaag par tension na do, take it all with a pinch of salt...

pehlye it was topi, and now roti. grrr

😆
Why does he go overboard with a particular thing everytime? Seems like he has chosen "roti" as his mantra this time. Ab to sirf shuruwat hai, roti ki ratt kitney aur episodes mein sunna padega

kaise ho bhai, good to see you after 2 years..!?
BTW music of Cheenikam will take you to a diff plane.
Ilaya saab at his best, aur kya ga rahi hai Shreya Ghoshal, she is gifted with a crystal clear voice of very high quality made magical by riyaz & riyaz, do listen and find out use of vikrit swar by the mastero.
Overall a refreshing & damdar album in this time of churaya hua substandard music..

Hello Sinha Ji! Absolutely agree on Cheeni Kum. Brilliant music by the great IR and Shreya's voice compliments the songs so beautifully. No wonder, IR is using Shreya even in his Tamil/Telugu albums.

'Jaane Do Na' is a delight 😊

I'm doing pretty good. How about you ? It's been a long time - those were the days when we old timers had so much to talk about, share and discuss .... It's nice to see you here though - gives me another good reason to still visit the forum from time to time ...

😊 😊 😊

Ofcourse, I heard the music of Cheeni Kum .. it may not be Illaya Sir at it's best but is a gem of a compilation .... brilliant arrangement, orchestration and dulcet melodies ... the music is so simple, soothing and mesmerizing inspite of a whole bunch of live instruments and multilayered interludes .... definately stands up above the rest of the hindi film music that we have to tolerate ... especially from the king of nasal and histrionics .....

And now we have to tolerate his acting whims in a movie as well .... Enduring Himmy Mia is tougher than the guillotine ....

Cheenikam: title song has extraordinary interludes, using western base over semi classical background, it takes me to a dusra jagat....
Shreya is fantabulous, is singer ki jeetni tareef karu kam hai, she has an innocent & serene voice, God bless her.

simplyskud, what Ilaya saab uses can actually be defined as pleural orchestra, are you getting me..??
It is multilayered yet every instrument leaves it's impact and what about his typical bass guitaring style...wow Ilaya saab hamesha salamat rahe.
