Banner Contest - Dates Extended

Hiya Friends

As requested by you all, we are here with the Banner Contest.. So, all of you start reading the rules below and start working on the banner 😛

Rules For The Contest

2. If Members make multiple accounts either to vote or make banners then they will be DISQUALIFIED FROM THE Banner Contest .

3. Each member can submit maximum of 3 banners .

4. Do not advertise your banner either through PMs, signatures or as posts. Any such banners will lead to DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE BANNER CONTEST.

5. The banners have to be still and cannot be animated.

How To Submit The Banner and To Whom

Please PM your Banners to either to Barnali or Anu.Rad.. Do not post your banners directly on the forum - Banners done so, will not be considered for voting..

How To Attach The Banner in the PM

1. First upload the banner using the site: https://www.imageshack.ws; or any other image hosting site (ex. www.tinypic.com)

2. Click on the add image button (besides ABC check..that looks like a mountain - Like This ---> ), located in upper-right hand corner- an Insert Image Box will Pop Up

3. Paste the link of the image where is says: IMAGE URL and click OK. The picture will then be pasted on your message.

How Is The Banner Selected

Banner selection will be based on Voting.. If there are more than 10 banners received for the contest we will post the banners the best 10 banners in the forum and ask members to vote.. The banner with the highest number of votes, will be chosen as the winning banner

Last date for submission of banners is 29th May 07 Midnight 12 IST.

Please PM your banners to Barnali and Anu.Rad

here you will find the pictures of all the contestants.. I think It will be good if you do not highlight one particular person.. You can include few contestants.. But do not highlight one particular contestant..

Note to banner makers: Please give equal weightage to all people - don't enlarge Mauli, Aditya, Shekhar, or Junaid more than the others. 😉

I have a question...Ekalavya gharana concept is still not clear.How can they then be included in the banner? what if they are not included and then they make an entry here and rock the show as well...then?

Adi, by the way the contest is running, Dunno how much time its going to take for the final 12 to be selected along with Brahmastra round and all these Eklavya members.. Who knows those members who are part of one Gharana now may become part of another gharana with Brahmastra taking charge.. If we keep waiting for the contest to catch fire and to figure out who is in which gharana - it will be too late.. We can always include Eklavya Gharana as they are also a part of this contest.. And Im sure they have some good role - Why separate them from the contest??
