SHAME ON ZEE FOR IGNORING TALENT IN INDIA

Perhaps,the simple truth is that South may not send many SMSes to fill the coffers of the channel.Why bother about music of that region? In contrast,II3 went at least to Hyderabad and found some good singers.

Why can't Zee TV go international?

These days Zee has viewership in all the countries from where it has picked up contestants. whats wrong in that?

In case you did not know Zee TV is just not limited to India or its viewers here. 😳

One thing I don't understand why is everybody blaming Zee. No one is here for charity. Reality shows are only for minting money,and finding a talent basically is an added attraction. Zee did not get enough response from the south during C2005 and therefore decided not to have an audition there. It is as simple as that.

If anyone has talent then he/she should go to the opportunity and not the other way round. My question is why didn't anyone from the south show up at the auditions in Bombay. Atleast few. We have seen guys from Assam coming to Calcutta for the auditions, so why can't a guy from Hyderabad attend the audition in Bombay. It is almost the same distance.

I concur with what Appa has said. People from Assam could come way to Kolkata for auditions. People from J&K could come to Delhi for auditions. So why not they.

The reason is simple. They don't watch the channel and this program. The TRP of SRGMP in south is pathetically low. So why should Zee go there.

Okay tell me why such hue & cry over south. What about North east. Even thats a Zone. None are shouting for them. Please lets leave these regionalism away now. Its in very poor taste.

Exactly, why blame only the TV channel? I agree with Appada's & Thakur Saab's POV totally.

I also feel it is not fair to blame the international participants or make them the scapegoats.In fact Zee has done a good thing. when it has viewership in all the countries why not give chance to the talents there as well.

Doesn't make sense. C07 has international contestants even though they will not get SMS from US/UK either. South is not the only zone they will not get SMS from. Don't know about pak or Dubai.

I would think it is easier to hold an audition in the South than London or NY, and even though South has a limited response at leat more ppl will turn up than in UK/US

its absolutely ok to go international now that progrmmes on Zee TV are watched all over the world and that the Indian population everywhere has increased so much. But to totally ignore one entire region of the country is appalling. Yes, as a few have suggested the contestants can go to the nearest city wherever the auditions are being held. But in this C07 challenge the jugdes were given one naional and one international region. if there are 4 jugdes give each one one particular region from India and one from overseas. Why do you need to have UP as one region and Delhi as a seperate one .They can both be grouped under one northern territory. Atleast INDIAN IDOL went to each part of the country and had auditions.
Anyway seeing the quality of the show they have decided to pick mediocre singers this time .Its our loss both in terms of time and money.
