I think one of the problem is we still compare these "new" or newer singers with legends like rafi,asha and lata ji..face it we are just not able to pull ourself away with that. Not that Iam saying these are singers are better or worse but the reality is the times when they steped in singing is much more different now..It was not easy to come in movies and sing.And after that they practically were able to stay for years ..now every single day u will see one more new "budding singer"...trying his/her luck ..making a album and so forth..It is much more difficult to survive although its easier to come..in music world..
