Why is this SHUBHAMSG being allowed to use big black capital letters? Wasn't this disallowed by the mods some time back? It indicates shouting.

Hello all! ๐Ÿ˜Š

What an interesting read! (and I mean the posts more than the actual article! ๐Ÿ˜†)

While I didn't think Sunidhi was outright arrogant, her comments weren't "politically correct" ... something we've become rather used to, especially from popular personalities.

Some of her remarks were applause-worthy. No excessive drama over her personal life, no bi***ing about others, etc. Some were rather questionable.

As has been "talked" about over the past 8 pages, the questionable remarks include calling herself "the most versatile singer." I beg your pardon!?

That might be confidence, but to me reeks of overconfidence. Granted someone like Ashaji has well over 20 years of experience to refer back to, but the truth is that she is indeed the most versatile singer in the industry. The proof lies in each singers body of work and is available for all to see/listen to.

Now .... what had me really surprised was Rahul defending SRK! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Those who know, can well imagine the reaction I had when I read "SRK" and "arrogant" in the same sentence ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜† In my eyes, he's a man who exudes confidence, yet has been humble about his success and life. There are hundreds of interviews, his own and of others, out there that speak of this.

As for humility in the industry not serving well for someone who wants to make a mark... forget looking to the past (with all respect to Rafi saab and others). Look at ARR. The man defines humility. His confidence shows through in his work. Otherwise he is known to be a rather reserved personality. That doesn't seemed to have hurt his popularity in the least bit.

To counteract that point... note the negative publicity Sonu received for the tiff with the organizers of the tour for having him in second place to Ashaji. He certainly didn't garner any favorable attention through that bit of arrogance.

There's certainly a lesson to be learned from those who have maintained their humility with success, what say? ๐Ÿ˜Š

we are in a new age. shelf life of any singer/ product is much shorter. even someone as great as an asha might not have lasted for 20 years if she was starting out today. same as a dharmender or a dilip kumar.๐Ÿ˜Š

started liking him after i saw ashoka๐Ÿ˜Š

sure he seems to be popular amongst music intellectuals here. no offense intended here, but how commercially popular is he really? isnt HR bigger? does the common man even know him, much less care about him?๐Ÿ˜Š

one way or the other, media needs something. if nothing else, they'll find stuff like how someone's first wife is absconding (talking about ismail darbar here). poor fella, even if he was not arrogant, dont know if that story could be considered as garnering favorable attention, wat say?๐Ÿ˜‰

sure.๐Ÿ˜› Same as there's a lesson to be learned from those who make it big without education- that education is of no value since they made it. or from all those drunk drivers who say that drinking doesnt kill since they are still alive and kicking.๐Ÿ˜‰ sweetheart, one can always find statistical deviations everywhere.๐Ÿ˜Š
