the zone sending the winner is a foregone conclusion (yawn), only thing to be decided is what TOWN the winner will be from. I'd bet on someplace in Assam...

Correct me if I am mistaken but wasn't Desh gaurav an II2 contestant who didn't make it to the last 12? If he is a finalist here i\I can imagine the quality of the singing...

Is it my imagination or is Aditya Narain copying Shaan's mannerisms? 😕

Anyway, the contestants don't seem that great as yet. Maybe they will improve later.

The show seems to have gotten off on a stable footing. We need to see how it pans out before we can make further judgment.

The singers seemed to be of a lesser quality this time - but you need to remember that even when C2005 started, the singers were a little scratchy in the initial rounds. It was the mentors that moulded them into the final product we saw. Also, C2005 had 8 wildcards who had won or been runner-ups in previous judged shows (Debo, Vinit, Ujjaini, Raktima, among others). Not to mention, they also had many previous winners (Nihira, Abhijeet, Niladri). These people are probably singing in a show for the first time, so they'll have to be dusted off first. I did notice talent though.
