Hey a_b! AB??!!! For a second there my heart almost missed a beat...I thought this was Abhishek, who decided to get online after having found that he had married a boring Miss World 😛
And now for your questions and my answers
Kannada is my mother tongue. I live in Bangalore (after having spent most of my life in Delhi and Calcutta). Moved to Bangalore 4 years back and till date find myself trying to adjust here 😕
A perfect friend is one, who knows WHEN is a good time to criticise me and when to praise me. I know they all say that a friend is one, who also criticises and is candid. I'd say a friend has to be sensitive towards my feelings above all else. Who doesn't start waxing eloquent about my shortcomings, at a time when I need some morale-boosting !
Well, I totally endorse that. Music is food for ears of course. And above all, also music for the soul. I find myself being able to work with a certain kind of music; relax with certain other kind of music; try to forget that I am angry with someone and fought with someone after I listen to my favourite music. And oh! There's another kind of music that kind of reminds me that I am hungry and need something to eat.
Oh, I love music...but haven't done much listening of late (especially Western classical). But, I do love blogging and putting up queer posts now and then. I love to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bangalore, get my camera, get my backpack and get going. Let's say not just me, but my husband as well. That's how we managed to do Badami, Aihole, Pattadkal, Bijapur and Hampi, in very quick succession. If a place has a historical past to it, nothing like it! Now I think it's time to take a break again.
My other hobby is observing people. Perhaps that's why I love my job. I get paid for observing people!😆
I don't think I do much by way of managing. The house is usually a mess on weekdays. Weekends just go by in dawdling, or chilling out and that means the mess of clothes on the chair, on the couch, on the floor, on the bed just remain. But, once in a while I do get inspired to tidy up. My in-laws keep the house in order and let my husband and I do the 'naukari' and 'awara-gardi' bit! 😛 And, like I mentioned somewhere before, I don't do the cooking either (except when even the devil in me implores me to go and do my bit in the kitchen!) This is why I get chided by my mom, coz my contribution towards keeping the house in order is a few notches below zilch!
