Hey thanks barnali and thanks for making me murgi 😉, its indeed an honour to be here, as a part of a game, a game dedicated to a show very very close to my heart and with which I have so many fond memories attached and hoping to build more in the coming years.

What a question to start the game…… Though parts of this sher were already by heart, it still gave me a chance to rehear Sanjeev's voice over and over again, on the pretext of this sher. 😳

Desh Raag, formerly a popular raag, now not so, it's a raag based on 7 surs, song – Chitwan roke …. The song does not figure in google, neither did Sanjeev talk of the details of the song in the show.

7 Raagas were discussed (with names)

Raag bhairavi – belongs to the morning hours. K. L. Saigal propounded the use of raag Bhairavi.

Raag Kalyan – Sampoorna Jaati raga and Lata is Kalyan, Kalyan is Lata – Mausam hai aashikana, hai dil kahin se unko aise mein doondh laana - Pakeezah

😆...the E at the end must have caused the confusion and not to mention...half of the population you speak to you call sadela and sadeli depending on their gender😆
