Guess not... Dia ki yaadash lagta hai kamzor hoti jaa rahi hai 😉 😆The Retro is the last one...... Ravi.
1. What is the full name of Ravi and who gave him formal training?
Full name: Ravishanker Sharma
Formal training: none2. The song Baar Baar Dekho........ from which movie would it be and on whom was the hero singing it in the movie? Any idea of the co-star?
Baar Baar Dekho was from "China Town" (1962) and was picturized on Shammi Kapoor. I believe the costar was Shakila, but I'm not 100% positive. (IMDB, youtube aur google uncle ne milke madat karne ki koshish ki)3. Nile gagan ke taale........... what a song! Any idea who the singer is and the movie?
Nile gagan ke tale was from "Hamraaz" and sung by Mahendra Kapoor (hindilyrix, don't let me down now 😆)Thats all yaar. [GAAL GULABI] I have a question for interest for you. I was listening to the Retro last night and the songs really touched me.......... such wonderful romantic songs by Ravisaab. Do you like to listen sometimes to these golden songs? How would you feel if these were in the market as re-mixes [UDAS CHAHERA]
Absolutely .. I love that era of music. Almost every single composition was golden. Quite a few have been remixed. Actually, if done well..some of these really work. The upbeat tune makes them great to dance to (in our style) and the integrity of the lyrics and composition is still maintained. That's only if it's done well mind you. What ruins them isn't the actual change in melody but the visuals. The inappropriate and vulgar videos ruin the feel of the song. Listen to the remixed versions without a visual and they are still appreciatable.
However, the quality of the original compositions is untouchable 😊Next Kasai....... hmm..... would Priyadi take over please?! [GAAL GULABI]
Hmm... wonder what Retro I'll get to listen to this time around 😃
