Well, I cannot comment on ladies Sangeet cuz i have never been to any..But bidayee songs are all brilliant..Babul ki duaayein leti ja ..wow what a song..perhaps the best bidayee song ever..Thanks a lot

The ladies sangeet songs mentioned above seems very cute..I would guess must be used in Ladies sangeet..Some ladies can comment on those better..

Even I am not sure... in bengali marriages, we have nothing like a ladies sangeet.. so wouldnt even know what gets played there.. all these songs are from what Yash Chopra shows us in the filmy weddings 😳

Yash Chopra is a master in as far as North Indian weddings are concerned...I have passed by few lady's sangeet's when I was small..What a noise😲, what a laughter😲. They have this little dholki and ladies beat it like crazy.. Every body is a singer..My goodness..They really have fun😃

Off the top of my head I can think of a couple - they are punjabi "folk-si' type songs.........

Ni main mar jaawan! 😉 Just the songs I was thinking of... I suppose we'll stick with the tried and tested filmy ways and use those songs. I really like the ones Jayadi mentioned as well. Keep it up ladies 😊

For Ladies Sangeet, Giddha songs. One filmi example that comes to mind is 'Sangeet' from the film Dillagi. I've been too a few ladies' sangeets in the US but never atteneded one in India.
