Public Voting - IF SRGMP - Podcast Added - Page 2

So....... can i still give my ratings???

Ok - here is what the coordination committee is deciding on the public voting issue...

We know that in the last round 3 qualifying singers bowed out as a No-Show case.. and this was more than the max possible number of eliminations (2 in each round)... So, naturally no one would go out in this round... We are going for a public opinion now to see the pulse of the audience too... As in who are they rooting for.. We do hope to see some heavy public voting here 😉

We also understand that such a situation can arise again in the future and everytime we cannot let the round be a casual one without eliminations... So moving fwd, even if we have such a case, we will go ahead with the eliminations on that round and rather reduce or get rid of one of the later rounds... This will help to make the contest tighter, and we can move fwd with it easier and faster...

So for now - in this round public voting stays.. Next time onwards, we will proceed with eliminations and rather cut down on one of the later rounds, which will be decided after consulting with all the mentors..

Wow, this is indded a wonderful idea. Mostly the audience has to agree to whatever the judges have to say, but the judges actually have no idea what the audience thinks. Especially with no eliminations in this round, this is a brilliant idea.

So this will give an insight to us as well.

And at the same time, it will give a BIG insight into what we go through...... 😉 😆 😆

Hey everyone is posting great idea. But none are giving their votes. Votes to daal do ab 😆

And when we say votes, lets rank each and every contestant in the round.. 😊 not just say that he was the best or she was the best...

At the end of this ranking.. we will tally all the rankings and provide the favorites of the junta... 😛

Well I was informed that the songs will not be sent for judging as already the required contestants are eliminated by default...... but I suggested that the other contestants have to know the ranking and hence bhaskar said to have public voting for ranking purposes and told me to open thread....

But I still say that if 1 or 2 people bow out in future we have to reduce the judged elimination or it would not be fair to already eliminated contestants...... so I feel that next time too if 2 or more contestants get eliminated by default there should not be elimination from judgement😃

But how is it unfair to the already eliminated contestants?😕 OK, some people did not submit a song for a round, by not submitting they get eliminated by default - now among the rest, we can still decide who were the best and who were relatively weaker... and go through eliminations and reduce one round... Where is the problem here? If you want, we can take this over the PM and leave this thread for public voting.. 😊
