Leaders mourn Kamleshwar's death

NEW DELHI, JAN 28 (PTI) Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat today mourned the death of noted litterateur Kamleshwar saying the nation would remember him as a multi-faceted personality. In his condolence message, Shekhawat said he would be remembered for his immense contribution to the country as a litterateur and a journalist. Congress president Sonia Gandhi also expressed condolences saying the death of Kamleshwar had created a void in the modern literary world which would be difficult to fill. The CPI(M) also mourned the death of the noted litterateur, with Polit Bureau member Sitaram Yechury saying Kamleshwar was known through his contributions which focussed on the values of anti-imperialism and anti-communalism. "The relevance of his writings are very relevant in today's situation than ever before", he said. Janta Dal (United) president Sharad Yadav mourned his death saying his contribution to Hindi literature would always be remembered. Uttar Pradesh Governor T V Rajeswar also condoled the death of Kamleshwar, who passed away last night after a massive heart attack.
