Best commentator/program host/compere - Page 2

Forgot to add this bit in my last post - I loved Vir Sanghvi in 'Question of answers' that used to be aired on Star Plus every Sunday evening. That was a great show for sure. Barkha Dutt is good too in the NDTV programme, but she doesn't quite carry it off as smoothly as Vir Sanghvi.

The best of all is Shaan he rox 😊 .

Well, I do not watch many Hindi TV shows these days but one host that impressed me quite a bit is -- Hussain of Shabaas India. He really has taken the show to great heights!

Shaan/Sonu were great SRGMP hosts.

Few could match the energy and enthusiasm of Annu Kapoor in Antakshari. I will awlays remember him and Pallavi Joshi as one of the best TV show host pairs.

Of the Hindi cricket commentrators my favorites were Jasdev Singh and Sushil Doshi. Sushil Doshi brought in entirely unique terms/words in Hindi commentary..... .balleka bahari kinara chumati huyi gend sidhi wicket-keeper ke paas ja pahunchi......

In English, I used to enjoy Suresh Saraiya and Anand Setalwaad.

And Vijay Merchant in the radio talk ...Cricket with Vijay Merchant

and boy! who can forget Lala Amarnath's expert comments......😆

You reminded me of the great man Jasdev Singh.My all time favorite commentator.. I understand he is in some chief position in All India radio..What a voice and mastery over Hindi language. Wither it is cricket commentary, Hockey/Football commentary or 26 th Jan/15 August..This man is a genius and class apart..

I don't know about Hussain of Shabash India but definitely Anu and Palavi make the best pair together..Anu Kapoor is going to start hosting Antakshari on star one starting next month..Thanks for your post..
