Remembering Saregamapa

IF members......we are joined here today to remeber the best reality show ever to hit television sets. Here's the name of the fortunate show: Saregamapa

It started out as Saregama with Sonu Nigam as the Host. There was many golden moments here like when Shreya Ghoshal came and tried to WIN and she WON! Both Saregama's were in her hands, as she was definitely an accomplished singer. A few years later, in came Shaan, a popular person with a knack for pop types of singing. He was most known for hosting the Challenge 2005 SRGMP which was a huge hit among......the WORLD! Everyone sat in tension to see which boy and which girl would take home the prize. A lot of great contestants were lost like Himani, Nihira, Hema, and many more when Debojit won by a small margin of votes. In the year os 2006, came Ek Main Aur Ek Tu with boys and girls joined together to form a jodi. A lot of Masti was shown in EMET and a lot of people were happy when the youngest jodi UA took home the prize. As soon as it was over, a new SRGMP was made: Lil Champs. Everyone was again a flitter to see little kids with a great talent of singing. Out of millions of kids, only a few were chosen. Each week, one was eliminated until only three were left for the finale. Sanchita, the only girl in the three won with much justice. Now, all these ppl are getting recording offers for recent movies.

SRGM/P has been our binding force. Apart from great moments, talents and all the gimmicks it also gave us our second home : India-Forums SRGMP section. Its been a very memorable journey. learnt a lot of things- good bad and ugly , but above all enjoyed being a part of this wonderful family that has memebrs from all over the world .
